“Draco,
no,” Hermione said. “Harry, stop this.” “He
wants to, Hermione,” Harry said to Draco. “Don’t
you? I am handing everything you’ve ever wanted to you right
now, Draco. See? See the magnificent beauty of this plan? You will
the one who saved Harry Potter. Doesn’t that sound great? Think
about it. You already have your wealth. And no one argues over your
exquisite drop dead magnificent looks. You know you have all that.
But could you ever achieve more fame and prestige than what I’m
offering you? Ever? I’m giving you the opportunity to be the
savior of the entire Wizarding world, Draco. I’m handing it to
you. All you need to do it say the word. Tell me. Just tell me you’ll
do it. One word. Just say the word. Just say yes, Draco. Say it. Say
the word…you know you want to…” “Draco,
no!” Ron shouted. “Harry, stop this shit! You’re in
training now for a plan. Don’t be fucking around with it! This
is more than just you!” “Ron’s
right, Harry,” Draco said. “I couldn’t ever do that
to you. Even if it was a plan. I…I can’t do it.”
Harry nodded. “That’s
okay,” Harry said lightly pulling Draco up. “Tempting
though, wasn’t it?” Harry wiggled his eyebrows. “You
damn Slytherin,” Draco said. “You make me sick. I swear
it. You are evil, Harry Potter.” “You
have no idea how evil I could be,” Harry said quietly. “I
could make Voldemort look as sweet as candy with all the shit I could
do. And that is Dumbledore’s greatest fear. Did you know that?
He fears that I might just turn all evil on his ass because he knows
I’m stronger than he is. I could kill Albus easy.” “And
the reason you don’t get all evil and kill us all is what?”
Seamus asked with a laugh. “Come
now,” Harry teased in that mock voice. “You all know me.
Don’t you? Harry Potter that sweet young innocent boy with the
scar? The one who has done all those marvelous things and the
youngest seeker in centuries? That’s still me, isn’t it?” “You’re
starting to really scare me, Harry,” Hermione said in all
seriousness. “I
should,” Harry said. “Because now all of you have no idea
if I’m evil or not.” Harry laughed so hard. “I’m
not crazy. I’m just in some funky fucked up mood today. Forgive
me. Want to see something cool?” “I
don’t know,” Seamus said. “You are a bit scary,
Harry.” Seamus laughed and Harry smiled. “I’m
not scary,” Harry said kindly. “Draco, I want to show you
something.” “He’s
probably already seen it,” Ron grinned. “Go
to hell,” Harry said. “Draco, catch this light with a
summon and then do a bounce cast to me and send it back. I want to
see how many we can do.” “Alright,”
Draco said. “But nobody else knows I can do that, but you.” “Oh.
Did you not want to reveal that?” Harry asked. “I…well,
I guess I could,” Draco said. “To these three.”
Harry nodded for him to tell them. “I know a bit of wandless
magic. I did have some training before my instructor was killed last
summer. And I think Harry was going to complete that training for
me.” “I
will do that if you want,” Harry said backing up across the
room. “I’m a terribly mean teacher.” “No,
you’re not,” Hermione said. “You’re a great
teacher, Harry. You were very patient with all of us in fifth year.” “No,
I meant with Draco I’d be a terrible teacher,” Harry
grinned. “I know exactly what Draco is capable of. I’d
expect more from him. Ready?” Harry created a ball of light and
tossed it to Draco who caught it and sent it back. Each kept up the
volley of the one ball of light until Harry added a few more and then
a few more and a few more. Soon there were over twenty balls of light
going back and forth between them. “I
can’t keep up,” Draco said. “Stop adding them.” “I
think you can get thirty,” Harry said. “This is twenty
two now. I’m adding more so be prepared.” “Harry,
no I can’t do it,” Draco said almost missing a streak of
light. “Yes,
you can,” Harry said. “Here.” Harry added more
balls of light to the ones already going between them. Harry was
having no trouble at all but Draco was struggling to keep up. Harry
added the last of the thirty balls of light and Draco managed to keep
them going until he missed one and the others came crashing down. “I
told you I couldn’t do that,” Draco said. “You
did do it,” Harry said. “I had thirty one in passing. So
you did it. I knew you could.” “How
many can you do?” Draco asked. “What’s your highest
number?” “One
hundred and forty seven,” Harry said. “And I was doing
fine until Albus dropped his end. I think I could have had at least a
hundred fifty. He was laughing so hard he dropped two and then the
rest landed on me.” Harry laughed. “That was so funny.” “Wow,”
Seamus said. “I’ve never seen much wandless magic except
when you were showing us a few spells, Harry.” “There’s
all kinds of things to do wandless,” Draco said. “I love
it, but I need more practice with it.” “I
get plenty of practice with it. But did you know that I can’t
cast one killing curse wandless?” Harry asked. “I can’t
do it. Albus can and I’ve tried, but I just cannot do it.” “Why
not?” Hermione asked. “I
don’t know,” Harry said. “Albus makes me practice
it and I’ve never been able to do it. It’s fucked up. He
tells me I don’t have enough evil to do it wandless. But that’s
a bunch of shit. The reason, I think, is that I’ve had the AK
and it won’t work if I cast it without a wand. So if you ever
have the killing curse and survive it, I suppose you can’t cast
it wandless.” “We’ll
never know if that’s true,” Draco said. “You’re
the only one ever to survive an AK and you can’t cast it
wandless. That doesn’t mean that the only reason you can’t
cast it wandless is because you’ve had the AK.” “That’s
true,” Harry said. “Can you cast it wandless?” “I’ve
never tried,” Draco said. “But
you have cast it with a wand, haven’t you?” Harry asked. “Yes,”
Draco said quietly. “Did
you hit your target?” Ron asked. “Yes,”
Draco said. “How
many times have you cast it?” Hermione asked. “Several,”
Draco said looking to Harry. “What
is said in this room stays in this room. Is that understood?”
Harry asked all of them. “I’ve cast it nineteen times and
never missed.” Harry told Draco. “Nineteen?”
Draco asked of the large number. “I’ve cast it four
times. And never missed.” “I
cast it once to a dog,” Seamus said. They all laughed. “It
was a mean dog. Fucker almost took my leg off.” “I
want to know why you can’t cast the killing curse wandlessly,”
Draco told Harry. “It makes no sense that just because you’ve
had the curse and been hit with it before that you couldn’t
cast it now. That makes no sense.” “I
know it,” Harry said as he walked to Draco. “Maybe it’s
something else. But I can’t do it. Albus can wandless and so
can Bringerly, Helton and Sheaves. And I’ve worked with all of
them repeatedly and I just absolutely cannot do it.” “What
happens when you try to cast the AK wandless, Harry?” Hermione
asked in interest. “Do you get any spell action at all?” “Sit
down and I’ll show you,” Harry said moving to the other
end of the room. “And don’t freak out because you hear me
say the words, okay? I know that freaks you out, Ron.” “Well,
it’s not every day you get to see Harry Potter cast a killing
curse,” Ron said. “That’s
true,” Draco said. “I’m glad I’m watching
from afar instead of being an intended recipient.” “Are
you volunteering?” Harry asked with a snort of a laugh. “Um,
no,” Draco teased. “Just stand far away when you cast
it.” “Can
you cast an unforgivable at Hogwarts without being in trouble?”
Seamus asked. “I
can cast an unforgivable anywhere and not be in trouble,” Harry
said. “I have permission from the Ministry of Magic to cast any
spell I deem necessary. Perks, you know.” “Spare
us,” Draco said with his sarcastic drawl. “Fine,”
Harry said. “Watch, Hermione.” Harry squared up with the
wall far away and slung out his hand to cast. “Avada Kedavra!”
The spell sent forth from his hand with the swirling green but was
seemingly drawn back into his palm. “Did you see that? It comes
back to me and I can’t get it out. That’s why I think
it’s because I was hit with the curse before. I can’t
explain it and no one else can either. Very odd.” “Yeah,
you’re odd,” Ron said with a grin. “Harry,
cast it again and let me see,” Draco moved around so that he
was facing Harry but to the side and far away. “I want to see
your palm when you do it.” Harry nodded, squared up and faced
the wall. “Avada
Kedavra!” Harry yelled and slung his cast. Again the spell came
from his palm swirled and then seemingly was drawn back into his
palm. “That
AK is coming back and hitting you every single time you do that,”
Draco said. “You’re giving yourself the killing curse
every time you cast it.” “I
know that,” Harry said quietly. “Harry,
maybe since your intended victim will be Voldemort, your curse seeks
him out and since you have part of him within you, it rebounds back
to you,” Hermione reasoned. “Does that sound logical?” “No,
because I asked that same question,” Harry said. “The
intended victim has no bearing on the caster of the curse. And even
though Voldemort and I are so mixed up together in many fucked up
ways, it doesn’t matter. I also asked that if I hit him with
the AK, would I die, too, since he has my blood and I have part of
him in me. I’m not completely convinced I won’t die, but
they all tell me I won’t, so I’m trying to believe it.” “That
may be part of the problem then,” Ron said. “If you think
you might die if you cast it to him, then you’d hold back in
not wanting to die.” Harry sat with thought over that reasoning
and eventually Harry sat on the mat with the rest of them. “That’s
interesting,” Harry said sitting in deep thought. “I
never thought about that. So I may be resisting with a full cast
because I don’t want to die? Is that right?” “That
sounds like what Ron said. I guess,” Seamus said in his
confused way. “But
you can’t go into a battle wanting to die,” Draco said. “So
I’d have to want to die to cast an AK,” Harry stated.
“That is so fucked up I can’t even believe it. I’ll
ask Albus. He’ll love that. He loves shit he can’t figure
out. I keep him full of things like that.” “You’ll
have to use a wand to kill Voldemort?” Draco asked. “How
lame.” “Go
to hell,” Harry said in defense. “I’m not perfect
you know. Can you cast an AK wandless? It’s harder than it
looks. Try it if you want. This room is magically sealed off so
nobody will ever know anyway. Just be sure to cast against that wall
I was using. It’s got my spells all over it.” Draco
walked over to the wall and tried to cast the AK wandless several
times, but each time only a small puff of green smoke came from his
hand. “What
am I doing wrong?” Draco asked and the teacher came over to
stand behind him. Harry showed Draco how to bring out his arm to have
his palm flat and how to use his mind to focus the spell. Harry also
told Draco to pull up the magic from his gut to make it into a semi
solid form for the spell. Harry was behind Draco with their arms out
showing the procession of the flick of the wrist when Draco leaned
over to kiss Harry’s cheek slowly. Harry turned his head into
the kiss and held Draco’s cheek. Soon Draco’s arms were
around Harry’s neck and Harry had pulled Draco up and into a
hard embrace as they kissed on. “Okay,
okay,” Seamus said. “That’s enough of that. I
thought you were working on the killing curse?” Slowly the kiss
ended leaving them both wanting for more. “What
were we doing?” Draco asked in jest. “Killing
curse, I think,” Harry said feigning memory loss. “Oh
yeah,” Draco turned around and they assumed the position again.
With several more instructions Harry backed away and Draco tried
eight more times. The last time the curse was almost strong enough. “Very
good,” Harry said. “You’re a great killer.” “Thanks,”
Draco smiled. “I think. I’m a Death Eater and Harry
Potter just taught me to kill. My life is so fucked up.” They
all laughed at the insanity of it all. “Harry?” Draco
called and Harry walked over. Draco whispered so that only they could
hear. “I’m going to be shaking here in a while.”
Harry nodded. “I
know. Me, too. It’s almost curfew anyway so we can go back to
the den and get fixed,” Harry said and each nodded. Harry
turned to the rest of them. “Well, it’s almost curfew and
Hermione will need to make prefect rounds. Draco and I missed the
evening meal, so we’ll probably get something to eat anyway.”
They all went to the exit. “Are
you both keeping your relationship in secret?” Ron asked. “We
think it would be best for a while,” Draco said. “We sort
of had to say something to the three of you because you were watching
us closely.” “I
don’t mind anyone knowing, but Draco is leader of his house and
the Slyths might make trouble if they knew right now,” Harry
said. “So just keep it between the five of us.” “Harry,
does Dumbledore know?” Hermione asked. “It’s
none of his business,” Harry said. “But I could tell him.
He doesn’t give a shit anyway.” “He
may since it’s me,” Draco said. “Have you ever been
involved with a Death Eater before?” “Sure,
all the time,” Harry said. “I’m around DEs
constantly it seems.” “Have
you ever had sex with another DE?” Draco asked. “Well
technically no,” Harry grinned with a shrug. “You
may need to say something to him before he learns another way,”
Draco said. “That could be bad. Besides, I’m not known as
the most trustworthy person at Hogwarts. He’ll question me of
my motives with seeking your company, I’m sure.” “Fine.
We’ll tell him then,” Harry said. “We?
No. That would be you will tell him,” Draco said pointedly. “No,
I think it would be good for you to tell him with me,” Harry
said. “Don’t worry about it. What can he do to me?
Nothing. Relax. I run the place, remember?” “You’re
such an ass,” Hermione told Harry before they exited room
number one. “Harry, you’re acting worse than Malfoy used
to. Get off it.” “I
can’t help it,” Harry said. “He brings out my
best.” Harry grinned at the other three as his hand found
Draco’s in the hallway. “You’re
not coming to the tower then?” Seamus asked. Harry shook his
head. “No,”
Harry said. “I need my own space. Too crowded in the dorm.” “Yeah,
right,” Ron said looking between Harry and Draco. “Come
on.” Ron said to Hermione and Seamus at the split. “Later.”
Harry and Draco walked hand in hand in the corridor since there were
no students. They entered the den and took their seats at the crates. “You
want something to eat?” Harry asked as he pulled out the packet
and emptied it into the spoon. “Maybe
later,” Draco said preparing the syringes. “This is all
we do. Are we sick of this?” “Yeah,”
Harry said of the drug. “I’m tired of it. After the
Voldemort thing, let’s quit.” “Fine
with me,” Draco said. “It’s good, but…too
much of a hassle. I’d rather be doing other things with you all
the time.” “I
agree,” Harry said holding the spoon steady so that Draco could
draw up the needles full. “You taking a full or a half hit?” “Half.
You?” Draco asked. Harry nodded to the half. Draco used the
band around his arm and Harry was looking at his vein. “I
can’t even hit that vein anymore,” Harry said. “I’m
pitiful.” Harry looked to his other arm. He picked up his belt
and wrapped it around the other arm tightly and thumped for a vein
and finally found one. Each injected and at for a moment letting the
high come and sate them. “I hate this, Draco.” “Me,
too,” Draco said tossing the needle on the crate carelessly.
“This is stupid. Why do we do this anyway?” “And
I can’t stop yet,” Harry said hating the words. “Do
you realize I’ll have to shoot up before I go out to kill
Voldemort? How fucking ignorant is that? Hell, I hope I’m not
too high to kill his ass.” Harry leaned back against the
stones. “I’m fucked up.” Harry slurred. “Hmm,”
Draco said in his drug-induced state beyond words. They sat for a few
minutes in silence, as their minds were a tangle in the drug-induced
state. Draco pushed up off the wall to stand wobbly and he began to
take off his clothing slowly with unsteady hands. “Need
some help?” Harry asked slowly. “I
can do it,” Draco said as he dropped his shirt in the floor and
fumbled with his jeans. After several minutes Draco was standing in
boxers and he sat with a flop on the crate again. “I am
seriously high, Harry.” “I
know how you feel,” Harry said pulling up his shirt over his
head and tossing it somewhere on the floor. After sitting for several
more minutes each, their heads began to clear a bit. Harry stood and
took off his socks, shoes and jeans. Harry wore dark blue tight
cotton boxers, which clung to his body like skin. “Holy
shit you look so unbelievably damn sexy in that,” Draco said of
the body standing in the room. The perfectly formed curve of Harry’s
hips that jutted down into those tight cotton boxers tormented
Draco’s mind. “I can hardly look at you and breathe at
the same time. Damn you’re fine, Harry.” “I
have nothing on you,” Harry said. “You’re perfect.
When I look at you it’s like seeing the classic art of a marble
sculpture. Every line and muscle just fucking perfect. Fucks with my
mind and makes me want you every second. I want to kiss every inch of
your skin.” “You
were taking care of several inches today,” Draco said. “I
thought I had died and gone to heaven there for a minute. That was
almost too much for me to handle. I hope you realize I don’t
ever plan on letting you go.” “I
hope you realize that I don’t intend on being let go,”
Harry said walking to Draco and pulling him up for a loose embrace.
Draco slid his arms around Harry’s shoulders and encircled his
neck. Each held the other in this comfort relishing the contact of
warm skin. Harry lightly kissed that tender spot below Draco’s
ear as each tightened the grip on the other. “Oh god you feel
so good. Just perfect in my arms. I could…” The knock on
the door interrupted the sentence. “Oh
hell. Who is it now?” Draco asked. “You need to find
another room.” Harry gave a short laugh walking to the door. “Who?”
Harry shouted in a hateful voice at the door. “Harry,
it’s me, Seamus,” Seamus said. Harry and Draco shrugged
to each other. Harry opened the entrance and allowed Seamus inside.
He took in both of the other in their boxers. “I hope I wasn’t
interrupting anything.” Harry walked past Seamus into the room
again. “Why
are you here? It’s past curfew,” Harry said in a
concerned voice. “Hermione
sent me,” Seamus said turning to Draco. “It seems that
Draco is missing and no one can find him. The Slytherins informed
Snape that Draco had been in the common room, but no one had seen him
since and that Draco hadn’t been in his room for several
nights. Snape asked the prefects to do a search of all the main
hallways.” “Oh
holy shit. Why can’t people leave me alone?” Draco asked. “You
may need to go then,” Harry said with a grin. “I don’t
want to get you into trouble.” Draco was grumbling as he fished
around for his clothes and began to put them on quickly. “…and
they can shut the hell up….and my business, hell, I’m
not a first year…,” Draco mumbled as he dressed. “I’ll
be in training again tomorrow,” Harry said. “We’ll
do that same thing.” “Yeah.
Okay,” Draco said slipping on his shoes. “I need to tell
them where I’ve been. Any suggestions?” “You’ll
think of something,” Seamus said. “You always do.” “Very
true,” Draco said in that arrogant Malfoy way as he finished
dressing. Draco moved over to Harry and took a long kiss and one
final embrace before each let go. “Breakfast?” Draco said
with a grin. “I
hate you, Malfoy,” Harry said kindly. “Not
as much as I hate you, Potter,” Draco winked and then left the
room. “Well,
that was nice,” Seamus said looking over the crate. “You
and Malfoy have been here for how many nights?” “I
don’t know,” Harry said. “Several bordering on
many. Why do you ask?” “No
reason,” Seamus said. “It just seems unlikely that the
two of you would be together is all. After trying to kill each other
for years, it’s just odd seeing you both that way.” “Makes
some kind of sense though, doesn’t it?” Harry gave a
short laugh. Seamus kept eyeing the paraphernalia on the crate. “You
don’t do it anymore, Seam.” “Looks
tempting though,” Seamus said. “I’m
not telling you what to do,” Harry said watching Seamus want
what was there. “But you know how hard it is to quit.” “I
know how hard it is to stand here and want a hit,” Seamus said.
“Give me a hit, Harry.” “Are
you sure you want to do that?” Harry asked. “You’ve
been off dope for months. I don’t want to be responsible for….” “Don’t
worry about it,” Seamus said. “Besides, I had a hit two
weeks ago with Kendra. Hook me up.” “Seamus,
I…I don’t want you to think that I did this,”
Harry said. “And I’m quitting in about two weeks.” “Fine.
Come on, Harry. Damn. I’m grown and make my own decisions,”
Seamus said. “Hook me up.” “Fine,”
Harry said sitting on the crate. “But Hermione will absolutely
kill me if she finds out you got this from me. She knows you were
coming here.” “You
want to take it with me?” Seamus asked. “No,
I don’t want you shooting up in the dorm,” Harry said as
he worked with dumping the powder in the spoon. “I’m
giving you a highball so you won’t be so fried.” Seamus
took the other crate and prepared the syringes. Harry boiled on the
spoon and Seamus drew up two needles full. “You want help
hitting that vein.” “No,
I got it,” Seamus said wrapping up his arm with the band. “I’m
shaking, man.” Harry watched him thump and raise a vein and
ease the needle into it and plunge. Harry took his own syringe and
shot into his own vein. Seamus dropped the needle and leaned back
against the wall as the intensity of the high took effect. “Damn
that’s some good shit, Harry. That is some fine dope.” “Only
the best,” Harry said as an insult as he also put his needle on
the crate. “I’m sick of the drugs, Seam. I’m over
it. I want something else. Something more.” “What’s
more?” Seamus slurred. “What do you want that’s
more than this?” “A
better life,” Harry said. “Hell, I’m on a dose
about every four hours or I’m sweating and shaking…it’s
insane and I’m tired of it. Draco feels the same way I do about
being on this shit. So we’re quitting together.” “It
won’t work,” Seamus said in the drug high. “You
can’t quit with somebody, Harry. I hate to be the one to tell
you that, but it will never work. One of you will want out more than
the other and it will break you apart. I’ve seen it a thousand
times.” “Well,
it will work this time,” Harry said. “Draco and I are
both strong willed and want out of it. I think it will be better
between us when we quit the dope.” “And
what brought you together, huh? Probably the dope,” Seamus
said. “You quit that and what do you have in common? Nothing.
But, do what you want. Hell, I’m all for you getting off of
this shit if that’s what you want. But I’m just telling
you to be prepared. It’s a lot different in a relationship
after the dope is gone. And, I guess I better go before Hermione has
some sort of fit. Thanks for that. I got cash.” “Forget
it,” Harry said. “But…you know I can’t give
you anything else. I’m not being responsible for…well,
if you start again. I just can’t handle that, Seam.” “I
don’t plan on getting all crazy with it, Harry,” Seamus
said. “I just…you know, saw it here and…well, you
know how it is.” “Yeah,”
Harry felt awful. “Later.” Harry watched Seamus leave the
room and he leaned back against the stones. Why did it feel so alone
here now? Harry was used to being alone a lot but for some reason it
felt like the walls were closing in on him. After
much sitting in the room, feeling guilty of Seamus, missing Draco
terribly, and staring at the mattress, Harry boiled up another
spoonful of the hated substance. A double shot. This was nothing new
anyway. Harry filled up the syringe with the potent drug, capped the
needle and laid it on the crate. Harry dressed quickly, put the
needle in his pocket and left the room. The hallways were all but
cleared. Harry ducked into an alcove while Filch passed. When it was
clear Harry headed up the stairs to the Astronomy Tower flat roof. When
up on the highest point, Harry sat on the floor and leaned up against
the wall. He pulled out the needle, flipped up a vein and shot up the
entire syringe full. Harry quickly flung out the needle and burned it
up magically as the force of the most intense high hit like a
hurricane. Harry slumped back and closed his eyes as he sat in the
shadows as the weight was pressing down on his head and the images
swirled about in his mind. It was a freefall of the psyche into an
oblivion of nothingness that swirled about in his delirium until he
gave in to the dark and it embraced his mind. It
could have been days that he’d been there, but when Harry woke
and it was light in the sky he checked his watch. It was just after
six in the morning and he was freezing. “How
long have you been out?” Lupin’s voice rang and Harry
jumped at the sound of it. Harry noticed Lupin’s stance with
crossed arms and giving that look. Harry pushed off the wall to stand
in a swaying way and walk past him trying not to stumble. “I
just fell asleep out here last night,” Harry said reaching for
the door of to descend the stairs. Lupin reached out and jerked him
back by the arm. “Let go of me.” Lupin pulled up Harry’s
sleeve to see a trail of blood that had leaked from his vein from the
injection the night before. “Harry,
I know you’re on the drug,” Lupin said seriously. Harry
jerked his arm out of the man’s grasp. “You can’t
do anything if you keep on using.” “And
what the hell do you know about it anyway?” Harry asked. “I
know you’ve been shooting up for close to three years,”
Lupin said. “We’re not blind.” “I
didn’t say you were,” Harry grinned hatefully. “The
point is that I don’t care.” “Harry,”
Lupin rubbed his eyes briefly. “You’ve changed so much
since we first met. You are better than this.” “Listen,
I’m in no mood to hear some damn lecture,” Harry said
reaching for the door again. Lupin grabbed his arm and Harry pulled
away with a huff of anger showing on his face. “Don’t
touch me. I mean it. Not right now anyway. I will speak with you
later today about some things, but right now I need to sleep this
off, get a shower and eat. I’ll find you after lunch. And keep
Albus off my ass.” Harry opened the door and walked in and down
the stairs. Lupin crossed his arms and walked to the edge of the
tower. The morning sky was overcast again reflecting the somber mood
in which the day had begun. When
he’d heard the knock on his door a little after five in the
morning, Lupin had panicked. But when the fifth year girl stood there
trembling, Lupin had let her in. She told Lupin that she’d gone
up to the tower for a cigarette because she didn’t want her
dorm mates to know that she was smoking. She’d found Harry on
the rooftop and he wouldn’t wake and his skin was cold. She had
not known who else to tell. Lupin had sworn the girl to secrecy and
told her that Harry was depressed lately. After dressing Lupin had
come up to the Tower flat to see Harry who had fallen over in some
drug induced sleep for god knows how long. Lupin decided to wait
until Harry woke on his own. “And
we’re pinning our hopes on some teenage addict to save the
world?” Lupin questioned himself at the sad state of affairs of
Harry Potter. Remus stood for a long time on the roof trying to make
sense out of everything on earth before breakfast. He checked his
watch and breakfast was just being served to the early risers. Lupin
headed toward the Dining Hall. Albus would be there. Harry
had descended the stairs and had entered the den quickly to find
Draco sitting on the crate. “Where
have you been?” Draco asked. “I was worried to death.” “I
was on the Astronomy flat,” Harry said. “I went there
last night to…well, just sit it out. I took a grand double and
passed out. I was pissed off at myself.” “For
what?” Draco asked coming to him. “For
giving Seamus a shot,” Harry said. “He stayed for a few
minutes after you left and…he asked for it. I tried to talk
him out of it, but…he took it anyway. And now I feel like crap
over it. And what’s worse, Lupin is the one who woke me this
morning on the roof.” Harry walked around the room running a
hand through his hair. “I don’t know how much more of
this shit I can take. I’m stressing out.” “Come
on, baby,” Draco said pulling Harry into a hard embrace and
kissing his ear. “Oh god you’re freezing cold.” “And
I’m about to get the shakes again,” Harry said in
irritation. “Hell, I can’t even sleep or wake up like
normal anymore. Dammit! I’m sick of this, Draco.” “Relax.
I’ll make us something to get us over the hump and we’ll
chill out for a bit,” Draco said. Draco sat on Harry’s
crate and Harry sat on Draco’s normal seat and put his head in
his hands. Draco worked expertly to dump the powder and melt it in
the spoon. Harry drew up the syringes and handed Draco one. They each
found a vein and plunged. After the drug was injected Harry reared
his hand back and threw the needle across the room and it hit the
wall and it fell on the floor. Harry sat back with a flop and crossed
his arms. “Calm down. This is coming to an end, Harry.” “I’m
coming to an end,” Harry said with a bite and then rubbed his
face with his hands. “Seamus said a bunch of shit last night
that…well, it…it got to me.” “What
was he going on about now?” Draco asked. “He’s
always spouting off a bunch of crap, Harry. You know that. Don’t
listen to him.” “He
was saying that when two people want to quit dope together that it
never works and they end up…splitting up or something like
that,” Harry said. “It just got to me.” “Don’t
worry about that,” Draco said. “This is what we both want
and we’re both a bit…well, stubborn that way. You know
that neither you nor I have ever backed down from anything we want.
And we can do this.” “It’s
good to hear you say that,” Harry gave a tiny grin. “But
now I told Lupin that I would hunt him down after lunch and talk to
him. I think I’ll tell him that I can’t quit right now
because of the week it takes to detox off this shit. Look at this.”
Harry showed Draco the dried trail of blood from the bend in his
elbow down to his wrist. “Lupin pulled up my sleeve and started
giving me hell first thing this morning and it’s not even
breakfast yet. This is turning out to be a fucked up day already.” “Come
over on the mattress with me,” Draco said. Harry noted that
Draco had already showered and was ready for the day when he had done
nothing. “Let
me take a quick bath and clean up a bit first,” Harry stood and
walked to the bathroom. Draco went over to lie on the mattress. It
was cool in the room so Draco covered up a bit with the blanket.
Harry ran the hot water for his bath and summoned a house elf and
told the house elf to get him a set of school robes. Harry quickly
bathed and brushed his teeth. The house elf brought the change of
clothing and Harry dressed in all but his robe. When Harry came from
the bathroom Draco had his eyes closed. “I’m
awake,” Draco said softly without opening his eyes. “I
can see that,” Harry said as he knelt onto the mattress. Draco
lifted the blanket and they slid in together and wrapped around one
another. Harry leaned in for a deep kiss. Each pair of hands roamed
the other’s body and pulled as close as they could be as their
legs twined around each other’s. “Damn you feel so
fucking good, Draco. I wish you could have stayed last night.” “I
missed you last night, too” Draco said onto Harry’s
freshly washed skin. “I hardly slept at all in my own bed.
Funny thing is that I’ve slept in that bed for years alone, but
now…it just feels so damn empty.” Each held the other
until it was time for breakfast. Draco left the room first as to not
cause suspicion. After ten minutes Harry left and was walking down
the hallway toward the Dining Hall. “Harry,”
a voice sounded. Harry turned to see Troy standing in a small
hallway. “Do you have a minute?” “Listen,
Troy. I’m not doing anything anymore,” Harry said. “I’ve
sort of…well, I’m not interested.” “But
Harry, I’ve not seen you in a long time,” Troy said.
“And…there’s nothing around. Nobody has any dope.” “That
includes me,” Harry said as he turned and walked back down the
hallway quickly. Harry was almost at the Dining Hall doors when Troy
grabbed his arm and Harry jerked it away quickly. “I said no.” “Harry,
come on, man,” Troy said. “Anything you want I’ll
do it. I’m needing something bad.” “I
can’t help you, Troy,” Harry said and he stepped through
the Dining Hall doors. Troy was persistent and walked in after Harry
and grabbed his arm again. Harry’s anger flamed and he turned
quickly, grabbed the front of Troy’s robes and walked him back
to slam him hard against the Dining Hall doors. The whole hall jumped
at the thud. “I said no and I meant it. Don’t make me
hurt you, dammit. I’m in no mood, Troy, so lay the fuck off!”
Harry pushed Troy again. Troy saw the angered flames of green. “Fuck
you then!” Troy shouted. Harry just turned to walk to his
Gryffindor table who was staring at him. “Get
in line and take a number, pal,” Harry said as he came over to
sit with a flop at his normal seat. Harry ignored everyone and put
toast, bacon and eggs on his plate and started to eat. After he’d
eaten a few bites he looked over to see Draco’s concerned face.
Harry rolled his eyes at Troy’s disruption of the morning.
“What
was that all about?” Hermione asked. Harry gave her the
how-stupid-can-you-possibly-be look. “Oh. Sorry.” Harry
ate a few more bites of his bacon and took a large gulp of his juice. “Training
today?” Ron asked. Harry shrugged. “Who
knows,” Harry said. “I never know until they come for me.
Fuck it.” Harry continued to eat. “Hey,
Harry,” Seamus said. Harry winced. “What?”
Harry asked. “I
sort of need to talk to you later,” Seamus said. Harry’s
gut clenched. “Harry
Potter?” Lupin called from the front table. Lupin, Snape and
Albus were all looking directly at him. Harry gave him a hard look.
“Could you come up here for a moment?” Harry had enough
and he picked up his juice and threw it across the hall with a yell
where it shattered. Harry stood quickly and stomped out of the Dining
Hall and was heading quickly down the corridor back to the den. Draco
waited for a few more minutes until the suspicion was down. Ron
looked over to Draco who shrugged that he had no idea what was wrong.
Ron stood and Draco did also. Draco met Hermione and Ron in the
hallway. “What
in hell is wrong with him?” Hermione asked Draco. “He’s
stressed out,” Draco said. “A few things happened last
night and this morning before I saw him and…he’s just a
wreck. I’m going to the room to speak with him.” “Can
we come?” Ron asked. “I
don’t think that would be a good idea,” Draco said. “I’ll
try to convince him to come to classes. I know Lupin will be looking
for him, so…just try to keep Lupin off Harry’s ass
today.” Ron and Hermione nodded as Draco set off toward the
den. When he arrived, Harry was already boiling in the spoon. “Little
pissed off today, are you?” “Fuck
it,” Harry said. “I’m staying here all day. I
refuse to leave this room. You want one?” Harry said speaking
of the drug. Draco nodded as he sat on his crate. Draco pulled up the
syringes. Each found a vein, injected the drug and dropped the
needles on the crate. “Come lay down with me.” They each
made it to the mattress as the highs took effect. “Hell yeah. I
needed that.” Harry breathed hard and closed his eyes at the
sweet relief. “What
was Troy on about?” Draco asked. “He
wanted dope,” Harry said. “And as always he was willing
to do anything I wanted for it. Stupid fucker.” “I’ve
heard that nobody in the school has any dope,” Draco said. “Everybody
knows I always have it,” Harry grinned with a small laugh. “And
not one soul is getting anything from me. Fuck them all. I’m
not their little savior this time. They can suffer.” Draco
turned to bury his face in Harry’s neck and kiss it repeatedly
as he wrapped himself around Harry’s firm body. Draco ran his
hand up under Harry’s shirt and pulled it up a bit to kiss over
his stomach and chest before taking a tender nipple in hit teeth and
playing with it. “Oh hell yeah. Do that…” Harry
ran his fingers through Draco’s hair and urged him on. Draco
slipped his hand over the smooth tanned skin of Harry’s stomach
past his bellybutton and the sexy trail of dark hair that led
downward. Draco moved his hand over Harry’s growing erection
several times and Harry moaned slightly at the touch. “Do you
want to go to class today?” “I
need to attend class,” Draco said. “I have ten minutes.” “Damn,”
Harry said forcefully. “Then you need to go. As much as I hate
to let you leave this room.” Harry put his hand over Draco’s
at his cock and moved it just a bit harder. “Oh fuck…”
Harry was wanting more. “Let’s
make a deal,” Draco said. “I’ll get you off good if
you go to class today.” “Hell
no,” Harry said. “Draco, I can’t. I’m messed
up today. Besides, Lupin will hunt me down and I’m in no mood
for that shit.” “You’re
stronger than this, Harry,” Draco said. “So what? Let
them pitch a fit. Fuck it. You’re the only one that matters.
Especially to me, baby. Come on. You can do this.” “Draco…”
Harry whined. “Dammit.” “Harry,
please,” Draco said sweetly. “Let me relax you. I’ll
even miss my first class if you go to the classes or training today.
You can do this.” Draco kissed down to Harry’s navel and
sucked on it a moment. “You can do anything.” Draco
continued on down as his fingers were working off the button and zip
of Harry’s pants. Draco kissed down to the top of the cotton
boxers and dipped his tongue inside the hem. “Will you do it?”
Draco kept on with the persuasion by pulling the boxers down and
bringing Harry’s hard cock out to tease it with his tongue. “Oh
god yes,” Harry said of feeling Draco’s mouth on him. “So
you’ll go to class?” Draco said before he slid his tongue
all the way up Harry’s shaft and over the little slit in the
head of his cock. Harry jerked slightly at the feeling. “Fine.
I’ll do it. Just don’t stop,” Harry breathed. Draco
slid his hot mouth down to take the entire length of Harry’s
dick in his mouth and began to give his special skills. Within only
minutes Harry was panting and lacing both hands through Draco’s
hair and gripping it as he breathed harder. “Oh fuck…oh
fuck…come on I’m about to come…damn, Draco,
you’re great at that…” With several more groans
and heavy breaths Harry held Draco’s hair in his fists and
pulled Draco’s head down hard as he thrust upward spilling his
hot juice down Draco’s throat. “Oh fuck!” Harry
yelled as he came with an explosion of an orgasm like none he’d
ever had with a blowjob. Harry let go of Draco’s head and
shuddered for a few moments. “Damn, you give great head. Holy
shit, I’ve not had a blow that good ever.” “That
was just for you Harry, baby,” Draco said. Harry pulled Draco
down into a wet kiss. Harry could taste his own fluid on Draco’s
tongue and they shared it within the deep kiss. “I don’t
want to go, now.” “You
want me to get you off?” Harry asked with a grin. “No,
I’ll wait until I can have you the way I want and not have to
rush through it,” Draco said. Harry groaned playfully again.
“If you want to do that.” “Hell,
yeah, I want to do it,” Harry said. “I want you to fuck
me.” “I’m
not going to just fuck you,” Draco said. They both knew that
this would be something special. “With something this good. I
want to savor every second I’m inside you and make it last.” “Oh
holy shit,” Harry whispered. “I’d do it right now.” “You
can’t do it right now. You have to go to class,” Draco
kissed his nose. “And don’t worry about Lupin or the
others. Just tell them that you’re on dope, that it takes a
week to detox, and you can’t quit right now. And…if
somehow my name gets brought up, you just deal with it. Tell them or
don’t. I don’t care.” “Alright,”
Harry said. “If they ask me about you, I’m telling them
that we’re together and that I need you right now. Because I do
need you, Draco.” “And
I need you,” Draco said. “I can’t deal with…well,
some things that I’ve not shared with you yet, but I plan on
it. You just seemed a bit stressed right now. It’s nothing
major. We’ll talk about it soon.” “Okay,”
Harry said. “We better get going.” The pair stood,
smoothed themselves out and left the room. “And you were
incredible.” Harry grinned. “Looks like I’m not the
only one with skills around here.” Draco laughed as he turned
the corner while Harry went straight to Transfiguration. Harry took
his normal seat beside Dean. Ron and Hermione were in front of them.
Everyone was settling in for class. “Care
to talk about it?” Ron said not even but half looking back to
Harry. “What
do you think?” Harry asked crossing his arms as McGonagall came
in. She looked over her tiny glasses in Harry’s direction, and
he gave her an emotionless stare. Roll was taken and class had begun.
After class was over the students stood and all picked up their book
bags and were filtering out of the classroom. “Quidditch
scrimmage after dinner,” Ron said to Harry with a nod. “Got
it,” Harry said. “If I don’t have saving the world
practice.” Harry passed by them and walked out of the room. “I
think he might be stressed just a bit,” Dean said lightly as
he, too, walked from the classroom. The next class was Arithmancy and
Draco was already in the classroom in his seat taking out his text
when Harry came in and sat in his usual seat across the room. Their
gazes met briefly and each gave a tiny grin and then went back to
readying for class. Professor Sinistra began the lesson and everyone
was taking notes on her words and diagrams from the board. “Excuse
me, Professor,” Albus Dumbledore’s voice rang through and
every one looked except one. Harry never looked to the man, but stood
knowing what was needed without another word. Harry shoved all of his
things in his book bag carelessly and walked over to look briefly at
Dumbledore before passing him and walking into the hall. All the
students had their eyes on Dumbledore. “That will be all. Thank
you.” Albus said to the teacher and students before turning and
walking from the classroom. Hermione looked to Draco who looked
almost sick for a moment before looking down to his notes. “Harry,”
Albus said. Harry was standing in the hallway facing the other
direction. “I think we need to talk.” “I’m
listening,” Harry said flatly. “Come
with me,” Albus said. Harry followed him matching his slow
strides up the corridor. The pair entered training room three and to
Harry’s surprise, they were alone. “Please sit.”
Albus motioned to one of the chairs. Harry sat and dropped his book
bag. “I
know what this is about. So just lecture me and get it over with,”
Harry said. “What
do you think this is about?” Albus asked. “Lupin,”
Harry said. “Am I right?” “In
part,” Albus said. “Professors Lupin, Snape and myself
are very worried about you. We are aware that you are using illegal
substances. And I have known for quite some time that you have been.
This is a critical time, Harry. You can appreciate where we would be
quite concerned.” “You
know I’m on dope. And I knew you were aware of it,” Harry
said. “I’m sick of it, okay? I require a dosage every
four hours to keep me from sweating and shaking. I would quit right
now, but I can’t. It takes at least a week of detox with
terrible pain from withdrawals and I don’t have that week of
luxury before the plan with Voldemort. I’ve been doing my best
lately with my classes, training, and…well, other people who
want to shoot up with me. I’m stressed out and I…I’m
just stressed out.” Harry ran both hands through his hair and
over his face. “I
can understand your stress,” Albus said. “That is quite
normal in knowing you have an upcoming battle of this magnitude. And
with your drug use, you are even more stressed. Is there anything I
can do to help you?” “I
don’t know that there is,” Harry said. “Look, I
know you’re like all disappointed in me and all that crap,
okay? But you just cannot imagine what it’s like being me all
the time. I’ve had to stay away from the other students for so
long, that…that I have a very difficult time even being around
them anymore. I keep the company of only a few students that I am
able to tolerate.” “I
would be interested to know which students you find tolerable,”
Albus said. Harry gave him the look. “Very
few,” Harry said. “And I’m not giving out any names
so that you can bring them in for interrogation over using drugs. So
forget it.” “I
could see where you might think I would do that,” Albus said.
“But I was more concerned for you than the others. I was simply
asking if these other tolerable individuals were your friends.” “No,
they’re not friends,” Harry gave a short insulting laugh.
“They come to me for one reason. I get what I want and they get
what they want. It’s a known agreement. But no more. I’ve
stopped doing that because…” Harry looked to Albus for a
moment. “Well, I’ve stopped doing that.” “And
why the change?” Albus asked. Harry gave the man a look.
“Perhaps since you have expressed the desire to change that
part of your life maybe is it that you no longer want to be
associated with those who still pursue that lifestyle?” “In
part,” Harry said flatly. “But…I do have a…a
friend that I enjoy spending time with. And when I’m with this
friend I find that I don’t want others around. It’s very
nice.” “Could
I ask who this friend is? Is it Ron Weasley?” Albus asked.
Harry grinned. “No.
But Ron is a good friend, too,” Harry said. “The friend I
mean is a bit…well, more than a friend to me.” “I
see,” Albus said nodding. “I’m glad to hear that
you’ve found someone that you might possibly care about in that
way.” Harry nodded. Albus stilled and thought for a few
moments. “Harry, you and I have always been very close over the
years. But in the last nine months, you’ve been so distant from
me. I know that you have been heavily involved with using drugs and
even distributing them among those who seek you out for that reason.
I shouldn’t have allowed it, but…for some reason I never
did anything to stop it.” “As
if you could have,” Harry challenged. “You know how I am.
Hell bent on doing as much damage as possible to myself and everyone
else.” “I
feel as though I’ve failed you in some way, Harry,” Albus
said seriously. “I should have made the effort to keep you safe
from the influence of illegal substances. I’m sorry I did
nothing. I was in shock at first that you would even consider doing
such a thing. When Professor Snape suggested that you had been using
drugs, I…I didn’t want to believe it.” “Spare
me the guilt trip, okay? I’m not your perfect son,” Harry
said. “I never was and I never will be. I’m just some
fucked up teenage wizard on dope like all the rest in this school.
And I meant what I said about getting off the dope. I would do it,
but I don’t have the time right now. My…well, my friend
and I have decided that after this…this Voldemort thing is
over that we want…we’ll quit. Together for support of
each other.” “That
is a very admirable thing,” Albus said. “And I applaud
your efforts and those of your…your friend.” Albus sat
for another moment. “Would you mind telling me who this friend
of yours is?” Harry laughed softly and gave a large grin. “We’re
lovers,” Harry said. “And…I’m sure you’ll
be very pleased when you hear it.” Harry laughed again. “Oh
hell.” Harry whispered to himself. “You
don’t have to tell me if you wish it to be a private matter,”
Albus said. “That is your privilege. I only hope this girl
is…or, what I meant to say was…” “It’s
a male,” Harry said. “You know that I prefer the male
gender.” “Yes,
I know that,” Albus said. “Forgive me.” “I
will tell you who it is,” Harry said. “You’ll freak
out. But it’s Draco Malfoy.” Albus’ eyes widened
for a moment as he considered the information and looked down to the
floor in thought. “I knew you’d do that.” “It’s
just a shock to me that you and…and Draco are …have
become so…close,” Albus said. “For years you each
tormented the other.” “We
still do. Except now we do it in different ways,” Harry
grinned. “You can’t imagine how good we are together. How
very good we get along. It’s amazing. And…I think you
may have questions about our relationship.” “The
most obvious being, are you aware that he is a Death Eater?”
Albus asked. Harry grinned. “I knew you were aware of it
already, but Harry, the questions must be asked.” “Yes,
I was aware of that. Yes, I trust him. He has told me much of how he
feels about being with the DEs. With my Occlumens ability, I know he
is telling the truth,” Harry said. “Draco is not active
in Voldemort’s service. He mentioned to me that those still in
school aren’t required to serve, but you and I know that’s
not true. So I suspect that Lucius Malfoy has found grace in
Voldemort’s eyes and has allowed Draco the privilege of not
serving until he graduates.” Albus nodded to that logic. “And
you suspect nothing else?” Albus asked. “No.
I’ve been in Draco’s mind and I sense no deception at all
from him,” Harry said. “I had even tempted him with
things to see if he would relent, but he never did. And…I am
just so glad that we’re together right now. I need him in my
life at this point.” “I
have heard no mention of you both from the other teachers,”
Albus said. “I suspect that you have decided to remain in
secret together for the time being?” “We
thought that might be best,” Harry said. “Ron, Hermione
and Seamus Finnegan know of our relationship with one another. And
Draco has spent much time with me lately. I’ve needed the break
and…Draco encourages me.” Harry nodded with a genuine
look of happiness that Albus had not seen in many months. “That’s
very good. Highly unusual, but very good,” Albus said with a
chuckle. “Draco Malfoy. Interesting choice.” “Isn’t
it?” Harry asked with a short laugh of his own. “Who
would have thought?” “I
can see where you might want to keep that relationship a bit
private,” Albus said with a grin. “And…I would
think that it would be in the best interest of everyone if Draco were
questioned of his involvement with Voldemort’s leagues.” “I
have explained to Draco that since he and I are together, that you
may want to question him on such matters,” Harry said. “He
is willing to do that if you request it.” “Very
well,” Albus said and then paused. “And of this morning
at breakfast?” “Yes,”
Harry said with a nod. “Troy had cornered me and was harassing
me for…well, he was offering me something that I wasn’t
interested in. He was stupidly insistent and I let him know that I
would continue to not be interested in the future. There may be other
incidences of that same nature in coming days or weeks.” “And
of what happened afterward at your table?” Albus asked. “I
was…generally upset over the whole morning having had Lupin
question me and then the situation with Troy. When another member of
my table questioned me about another matter, I just lost it. That’s
when Lupin called me to the table and I just…couldn’t
take all the pressure at once. So I left for a bit to cool off.” “I
was surprised that you were even in class today,” Albus said. “Draco
asked me to go to class,” Harry said and then grinned widely.
“He has very convincing methods of persuasion.” Albus
nodded and dared not touch that subject. “Harry,
you mentioned the detox period being one week….” Albus
said. “I’m
on Hiddle through injections,” Harry admitted. “The detox
is a week.” “There
is another method of quick detox that Madame Pomphrey and four other
medical staff members from St. Mungo’s have developed. It
requires three days,” Albus said. “I will not lie to you.
It’s a very intense method and is quite painful. There have
been a number of addicts seeking treatment who have detoxed
successfully at St. Mungo’s with this method. If you would be
interested in that, we will discuss it further.” Harry was
interested immediately and the discussion lasted for a long while on
the exact treatment for the detox. “Albus,
I’m also on muggle cocaine and the wizard drugs of amperlius,
vitrial and lotuscel,” Harry said. “So I’m not sure
if that detox method would work for me. I’m mess, I know. But
I’m too far in to just stop right now.” “The
quick detox method uses several potions that cleanse the blood,”
Albus said. “So no matter what different substances are present
in the bloodstream, the potions would nullify them. It wouldn’t
matter what else you’d used, it would all dissipate.” “That’s
incredible,” Harry said of the detox. “And Madame
Pomphrey has experience with this method?” “She
has been present at the training sessions on the quick detox at St.
Mungo’s, but she has never administered the complete treatment
here at Hogwarts,” Albus said. “I feel that it would be
quite safe for her to administer the treatment to any student wishing
to have it.” Harry rubbed his hands together lightly and was in
deep thought over the quick detox method. “I…I
think I could do the quick detox,” Harry said. “But I
know I’d be in severe pain from all that I’m on right
now. I just hope I’d survive it.” “That
pain would be intense. And given that it is a detox, no pain reliever
potion could be given. There are a few healing spells available to
other wizards, however…” Albus said trailing off. “I
know they won’t work with me,” Harry said with a nod. “I
understand that.” “Harry,
I only want what is best for you,” Albus said. “And in
light of the upcoming confrontation with Voldemort, we all know you
need to be at the top of your form. You are not the only one training
for this battle.” Harry looked to Albus whose face was a bit
grim. “Yes, we’ve learned that he is indeed preparing for
meeting with you as well. I do believe that he has gained at least
some information on your strength and possibly your abilities.”
Harry could have heard no worse news. “Oh
no,” Harry whispered and then bit his lip. “Then I need
the detox. I need it. If I go to him any less than what I could be,
then I give him an additional advantage on me.” “I
will speak with Madame Pomphrey about preparing the potions for your
detox if you wish it,” Albus said. Harry looked to Albus and
nodded slowly his eyes showing a bit of the apprehension of it. “Do
you think that Madame Pomphrey could take on two students wishing the
quick detox?” Harry asked. “Draco?”
Albus asked. Harry nodded slightly. “I will ask her. I’m
sure we could take on another medical staff worker here to assist
Poppy with the two of you if Draco decided he would like to detox.
You may ask him if you wish. I will arrange it so that you both will
receive the treatments you desire.” “Thank
you, sir,” Harry said. “That would mean a lot to me. I
will ask Draco when I see him again. When do you think our detox
would begin? We have our Quidditch match against one another on
Saturday.” “So
very strange,” Albus shook his head and Harry grinned. “Sunday.
The day after the match. That would give you three days to detox. You
should be fine by Wednesday. There are additional potions which will
be given to each of you so that your strength is maintained and you
will not be weakened after the treatment.” “Wonderful,”
Harry said. “Harry,
if Draco chooses not to have the detox…?” Albus
questioned. “What will you decide?” “I
know I need it,” Harry said lowly. “But…I’m
not sure yet. I just…let me speak with him first. I will
probably choose to take the detox anyway…even if he doesn’t.”
Harry ended that sentence barely audible. “Very
well,” Albus said. “I know that Professor Lupin wished to
speak with you after lunch. But since you and I have had such a nice
conversation today, I will inform Lupin of this talk we’ve
shared. I’ll get him…off your back.” Harry grinned
at Albus’ cool terms. “Thanks,”
Harry said touching Albus’ hand quickly. “The
Aurors wanted training sessions to day, but I told them that we’d
resume those sessions tomorrow and continue them for two days,”
Albus informed. “That’s
fine. However,” Harry swallowed. “If the sessions last
long, I need to take breaks every four hours to…to have a
dosage so that I can continue. I hate it, but…I get sweaty and
I tremble violently. My concentration is gone when…when I’m
needing the drug,” Harry said in embarrassment. “I
understand,” Albus said patting Harry’s hand. “Let
me know if you need a break and we’ll have one during the
training sessions.” “I
take only the minimum amount required to keep me focused and
functional now,” Harry said. “It’s like maintenance
with no enjoyment much anymore. Sad really.” Harry gave a tiny
morose grin. “We’re
working on it,” Albus said. “Things will be better. You
are free to go if you wish.” “It’s
lunchtime. We could go to the Dining Hall if you’d like,”
Harry offered. Albus was secretly thrilled and he nodded as much. The
pair of wizards came from the training room and walked slowly down
the corridors speaking of many things as they’d done in years
past. Many students noticed but none dared interrupt the Headmaster
and his favorite son. Harry and Albus entered the Dining Hall and
stood for several more minutes in some conversation before each gave
a small laugh. Albus put his hand on Harry’s shoulder as if he
were crowning him king of the world. Harry nodded with a genuine
smile and turned to walk to his own table. Albus gave Harry a look of
pride before turning to walk to his own table. All the students
noticed the interaction between the two. It wasn’t new, but it
hadn’t happened in a long, long time. “What
did Albus have to say?” Ron asked. “Oh
not much,” Harry said in his light mood. “Listen, I
didn’t mean to be a total bastard today. I had a rough morning
even before classes started. But…well, parts of it weren’t
so bad.” Harry gave a tiny grin remembering the fabulous
blowjob Draco had given that morning. Harry gave a tiny shudder at
remembering it. “Not bad at all.” “What
was that?” Hermione asked. “I
just said…just forget it,” Harry gave a short laugh and
a smile as he began to eat his lunch. After he’d eaten a bit
Harry looked over to see Draco missing from the Slytherin table.
“Herm, have you seen…um…my friend?” Harry
said because Neville and Dean had just sat next to him. “Oh,
um…yes. My last class of Ancient Runes your friend was
present,” Hermione said with a nod. “What
friend? You got a friend?” Dean asked in that annoyingly cute
but nosey way. “A
few,” Harry said. “More
than a few,” Neville said in his awe of Harry’s gift with
having anyone he ever wanted for sex at the drop of a hat. Neville
was easily impressed. “Harry’s a friend to everyone.”
Neville snickered. “Are
you seventeen?” Ron asked of Neville who nodded. “Just
checking.” Hermione grinned and looked between the boys. “Neville,”
Harry said. “I heard that you were dating that Debbie McCaulk.
Is that true?” “Yeah.
She’s really nice,” Neville said. “We’ve only
been dating for about two weeks and how did you know that?” “I
know everything, Nev,” Harry said. “I’m the eyes
and ears of Hogwarts. I could be anywhere and you’d never know
it.” Harry wiggled his eyebrows as he ate. “I have a very
complex spy network working for me.” Neville’s eyes
brightened. “You
do?” Neville asked. Harry laughed. “No,
I don’t,” Harry said. “I was just teasing with
you.” Neville looked genuinely confused. “Lighten up,
Neville. I said I was only joking.” “I
think Neville is just surprised that you are just joking around with
him, Harry,” Hermione said. “To be perfectly honest, you
haven’t said much to anyone in a few months.” “Yeah,
you’re right,” Harry said lightly as he was finishing
eating. “But…I think I might…well, I …I
sort of have some plans…or something and…I might be in
the Tower more often maybe or not…I’m not sure.” “What?
What you just said made absolutely no sense,” Ron said as he
stuffed his mouth full of potatoes. Harry chanced another glance at
the Slytherin table. “Herm,
did you happen to notice where my friend went after class?”
Harry asked her. “Sorry,
I didn’t,” Hermione said. “But we know where that
person might be.” “Where
do you think?” Harry asked as soon as he swallowed his food.
“Common
room? Dorm room?” Hermione asked. “Most likely places.
Or…another room.” Harry nodded and looked at his watch. “I
need to go check on something. See you in Potions,” Harry said
as he quickly jerked up his book bag and hurried out of the hall.
Harry broke out into a jog on the way to the den where he thought
Draco might be. Harry quickly entered to find an empty room. “Damn.”
Harry eyed the crate and sat to cook up a spoonful of the liquid.
Harry drew up two syringes, capped them and put them in his inside
pocket before heading down the corridors again towards the dungeons
and double Potions class. Last class of the day. All the students sat
and Harry noticed that Draco wasn’t present. Snape started to
drone on and on about what potion they’d be working on. Harry
took his notes as usual and he, Ron and Hermione were partnered and
began work on their potion. The
class seemed to go on forever and at the very end of class fine beads
of sweat were on Harry’s lip and he tried to calmly rub his
palms on his jeans to dry them. When class was dismissed, Harry
picked up the book bag and headed out the door quickly. “Must
be time,” Ron said to Hermione who nodded that they’d
noticed Harry’s sweatiness and light shakiness. Harry went to
the nearest bathroom and into the stall quickly. He yanked off his
belt, wrapped it around his arm, thumped a popping vein and plunged
into normalcy again. Harry laid his head back against the stall door
for several moments until he heard someone enter the bathroom. “Harry?”
Draco’s voice sounded. “Are you in here?” “Yeah.
Come here,” Harry said opening the stall. “I’m
shaking bad we need to go…to…the…” Draco
stopped when Harry pulled out the extra syringe for him. Draco kissed
him quickly. “You are so good.” Harry assisted Draco
wrapping the belt around his arm. Draco’s hands were trembling
badly. “Here.
Let me do it,” Harry took the needle and expertly hit Draco’s
vein and slowly send the drug into his system. Draco almost fell on
the toilet from the rush. “Oh
god. Thank you,” Draco said closing his eyes at being sated of
the need. “Where
in hell were you? I was looking for you at lunch and in Potions,”
Harry said. “Detained,”
Draco said from sitting on the toilet. Harry noticed Draco’s
looking down in some type of depressed state. “Draco?”
Harry asked in a bit of dread. Draco looked up and Harry noticed the
fear and grief in his eyes immediately. “What’s happened?
Tell me who detained you.” “Harry,
I think I might have a problem,” Draco said. “There are
four more DEs in my class here at school. It seems like I’ve
been given orders from Voldemort. And it pertains to you personally.
Isn’t that nice?” Draco said with no humor evident. “See?
I told you Voldemort and I think alike,” Harry grinned. “He’s
a very brilliant wizard, Draco. I try not to underestimate him. Ever.
He’s quite cunning. What exactly are your orders?” “I
can’t tell you here,” Draco said. “Let’s talk
about it in another place.” Harry looked around the stall and
tried to hear sounds of anyone that might be in the bathroom. Draco
raised his eyebrows that it might not be safe so Harry nodded firmly.
The two needles were vanished and Harry pulled Draco up and into a
slight embrace for a quick but nice kiss. “I
missed you,” Harry said softly. “Potions is a pain
without you there to stare at.” Both grinned at the comment.
“And I had a nice talk with Albus today. There are some things
we need to discuss.” Draco nodded. “The
evening meal is in an hour, and there is a house party tonight in the
Slytherin common room,” Draco said. “Since I lead my
house, I’ll be required to attend. Would you like to come as my
date?” “Are
you so sure that’s a good idea with your orders and all?”
Harry asked. “It
might be the perfect plan actually,” Draco said. “Come
on. We’ll go speak somewhere else. I really need a smoke. You?”
They agreed to meet outdoors on the front steps of the school. Each
left the bathroom at different times and took different directions.
They met up outside the front entrance of the school and walked along
the back wall and Harry showed Draco a small alcove that was
virtually hidden behind the brush. “I never knew this was
here.” “This
is just another of my little private areas,” Harry said. Draco
had taken out the cigarette pack and lit them both one. Draco handed
Harry his and each took a long draw. “Okay.
We need to talk. Who goes first?” Draco asked. “I’ll
just tell you that I spoke with Albus today. Of course, he knows that
I’m using dope. What you may not know is not only am I on the
Hiddle and cocaine, but amperlius, vitrial and lotuscel, too,”
Harry said. Draco blinked. “I know. But I’ve not had the
other three in several days.” “Vitrial?
Damn. I wish I’d known you had some of that,” Draco said.
“I love that shit.” “It
was over eighty percent pure, too,” Harry bragged. Draco
groaned. “Well, anyway. I told Albus that you and I were
together because he asked when I mentioned my um…my friend
that I’d spent time with recently.” “Friend?
We’ll never be friends. You know that right?” Draco
asked. “I
think we skipped over the friend thing and went straight from enemies
to lovers,” Harry said. “Odd, but nice. Anyway, as I’m
sure you expected, Albus mentioned detox. And it seems that there is
a new detox available that works in three days.” Harry went on
to explain the process, the potions, about Madame Pomphrey and that
Albus was arranging it that if Draco also wanted to detox starting on
Sunday that they’d both be able to. “And there are
several healing spells to take away part of the pain. Well, your
pain.” “What
about you?” Draco asked. “Healing
spells of that sort don’t work on me anymore,” Harry
said. “I’ll have to just rough it on my own. And I can’t
have any pain reliever potions because they are narcotic in nature.” “You’ll
just have to go through the pain with nothing to help?” Draco
asked in shock. “Yeah,”
Harry said. “Don’t worry about it. I’ll be okay.” “Harry…”
Draco said in dread knowing the pain would be almost unbearable. “I
know. I know,” Harry said. “But this is what we want.
Right?” “I
do. I want off the injections,” Draco said. “Is that what
you want?” “Yes,”
Harry said. “I’m just…well…you and me…I
hope we’ll still be…like this.” Harry took Draco’s
hand. “Of
course we will,” Draco said giving Harry’s hand a
squeeze. Each flung the cigarettes away can took a step closer to one
another. “I really like what we have together.” “So
do I,” Harry said. “And…I sort of need you right
now. I’ve not been close to anyone in a long, long time.” “Me,
either,” Draco said. “I need you, too. And I think we
should do the detox together.” Harry nodded. “Tell
me about your orders from Voldemort,” Harry said. Each sat on
the small rail and Draco explained that his orders were to be in
Hogsmeade on Saturday after the next and to keep watch on Harry and
to draw him or drag him in some way to the Hogs Head bar at two in
the afternoon. The suggestion was to form some type of friendship or
acquaintance with Harry so that would be easier or possible. The
other DE members of Draco’s house were to assist Draco with his
task of befriending Harry in any way possible. “I don’t
think we’ll need their help.” “My
house members know that I inject and they are aware that you also
use,” Draco said. “We could make it look like that’s
our initial contact point.” “It
was after all,” Harry said. “We were brought together
from drug use. Isn’t that awful?” “Whatever
it was, it doesn’t matter now,” Draco said. “But if
we detox, my house members cannot know it. That would put a serious
kink in the plan of them thinking that we only use together.” “What
if we just use together and…what would your house members say
if you and I really showed them that we are involved?” Harry
asked. “I’m
not sure. They’d think that I was playing along with the plans
and my orders to have you where you’re supposed to be on
Saturday next,” Draco said. “So
we could actually just be together in the open and it not matter,”
Harry restated. “I
suppose if that’s what you want to do,” Draco said. “I
don’t care what the school thinks. It would boost my reputation
at having laid the hero, don’t you think?” “I’m
not so sure about that, but…I wouldn’t care either,”
Harry said. “My house will have a fit, but I don’t
socialize with them much anyway.” “Do
you think we need to tell Albus about my orders first before we
decide to go through with this coming out plan?” Draco asked.
Harry nodded. “I thought so, too. I’m sure he’ll
question me further, but that’s all there is to know.” “Just
be honest. Besides, he and I both are Occlumens/Legilimens. He can
read your mind as I could if I wanted,” Harry said with a grin. “You
never told me that,” Draco said with a grin. “So all
these times I was secretly seducing you in my mind, you knew it?” “Not
every time,” Harry teased with a small laugh. “If you
only knew the number of times I’d had mind sex with you…”
Harry shook his head. “It’s a large number.” “That’s
because I’m irresistible,” Draco said before he took
Harry’s bottom lip between his teeth gently and pulled back
teasing him. “Yes,
you are,” Harry said allowing his hands to roam a bit freely
over Draco’s sides and arms. “Perhaps you are truthfully
seducing me to lead me to my death at Voldemort’s hand.”
Harry teased. “Exactly,”
Draco said. “I’m one evil Death Eater that plans to fuck
you over. Or just fuck you in any sense of the word.” “And
I can’t wait,” Harry said with a grin and a short laugh.
“We never get the chance. Every time we…well, anyway. I
suppose we need to get to Albus and tell him about your orders. And
what kind of party is this tonight anyway in the Slytherin common
room?” “Just
one of the house parties,” Draco said. “There will be
butterbeer, dancing, lots of hidden drug use that Snape will try to
discover.” “I
see,” Harry said. “So is this a date? Are you asking me
out?” “Yes,”
Draco smiled. “Would you be my date?” “I’d
love to,” Harry said shyly like some blushing schoolgirl. Harry
batted his eyelashes quickly and Draco laughed. “You’re
not going to try to take advantage of me after the party are you?”
Harry teased and gasped. “I
might,” Draco said with a wink. “You’d
better,” Harry said and each laughed as they embraced for a
moment to enjoy each other. Harry gave a quick kiss to Draco’s
neck. “I could do a bit of dealing at the party. I have a ton
of shit that I could sell and get rid of it.” “What
do you have? Pansy, Blaise and Milli were looking for pills last
night. They almost assaulted me thinking I had anything,” Draco
said. “I
have a ton,” Harry said. “I have some amperlius and
lotuscel. About sixty of each,” Harry said. Draco’s eyes
widened. “I keep it on hand. And I have several vials of coke
and about thirty grams of Hiddle.” “Damn,
Harry!” Draco said with a laugh. “Holy shit. You’d
be put in Azkaban for having all that if you were caught.” “Oh
sure. The Ministry would put Harry Potter in Azkaban while Voldemort
is on the loose,” Harry said sarcastically. “I have cover
with my name. Don’t be stupid. They can’t touch me and
Albus wouldn’t let them anyway. So if you want we’ll
unload the drugs on the school to get rid of it before Sunday.” “Fine,”
Draco said. “You want me to pass the word for everyone to have
the cash ready?” “Absolutely,”
Harry said. “And no favors. Cold hard cash only. I’m not
taking sex on the side for my dope anymore. I have you and I don’t
want anybody else. I’ll break down what I have in five pill
packs for forty. That way I’ll be making a bit of money on
each.” “Hell,
you could ask more than that. Nobody in the whole school has anything
to sell right now,” Draco said. “You could get sixty
easy.” “I’m
giving a deal here,” Harry said. “I want rid of it
and…well, I might need a few new friends in Slytherin.” “You
know Slytherins aren’t friends,” Draco said. “They
take what they can get and piss on whoever stands in their way.” “I’m
a Slytherin, Draco,” Harry said. “I know how Slyths
operate.” The pair sat for a while longer talking until it was
almost time for the evening meal. They each decided to speak to Albus
after the meal and soon both were making their way indoors. The
students started filing in for the meal and soon the hall was alight
with chatter. Harry piled up his plate and began to eat. “I
hear there’s some sort of party in the Slytherin common room
tonight,” Dean said. “Yes,
I was invited by Lynn Hardworthy,” Padma said. “I can’t
wait.” “I’ll
be there, too,” Harry said with a tiny grin knowing he had his
table’s attention. “You’re
going to the party?” Hermione asked. Harry nodded. “Yeah.
I was invited,” Harry gave her the grin. “Who
invited you?” Neville asked. “Someone,”
Harry said. “Why will you be there?” Harry asked Neville. “No,”
Neville asked. “I think the Slytherins are sort of scary.” “Do
you think I’m scary?” Harry asked. “Well,
yeah. Sort of,” Neville laughed. “So
you’re going down in the snake pit,” Ron said as he ate.
“That should be interesting.” “You
have no idea just how interesting it will be,” Harry said. The
chatter of the party in the Slytherin common room was the hot topic.
A scream from the far side of the room caught everyone’s
attention and Harry and his table noticed all the students scattering
away from one corner of the room quickly. “What the hell?” “Students,
move away,” Snape said walking toward his own house table. Many
of the other students had stood trying to see what the commotion was.
“Albus?” Snape asked. Albus hurried over and then turned
to Harry. “Harry,
could you come over for a moment?” Albus asked. Harry was a bit
confused but walked over and noticed Draco on top of the Slytherin
table. With another look Harry swallowed. “Is that…?” “Yes.
Nagini,” Harry said of the ten-foot snake that was winding its
way toward Harry. All the students moved back with Snape and Albus as
the snake circled Harry’s feet. Harry dared never move. “Harry
Potter,” Nagini said. “I bring a message to you from my
Master. He wishes you to know that your time is near.” Nagini
circled Harry’s leg and many of the students gasped. Harry
knelt and the snake and Harry were at eye level when the snake rose
up to face Harry. “Tell
your master that it is his time that is near,” Harry told the
snake in parseltongue looking defiantly at the snake with an angered
but amused face. “My
master wishes you to know that he will be merciful if you should like
to join his ranks and serve him,” Nagini hissed. Harry laughed
out loud to the surprise of the whole hall. “Then
your master is a fool, Nagini. I will never serve him and he will die
at my hand should he be foolish enough to come near me,” Harry
said in parseltongue with a smile. “I
will deliver your message,” Nagini said. “I will leave
you now, Harry Potter.” “You
do that,” Harry said. “And do not come here again to
frighten these students.” “I
will do as my master commands me,” Nagini said. The large snake
came nearer to Harry and wrapped around his torso and flicked his
cheek with its tongue lightly before slithering onto the floor and
vanishing. Harry stood and noticed all eyes on him. “Well,
that was interesting, wasn’t it?” Harry asked with a grin
turning to Albus. “That was my personal message delivery
service from evil dark lords.” “Perhaps
we need to speak in my office,” Albus said.
“There
is no need,” Harry said. “It’s the same line of
crap he’s always saying. My death is near and that he wants me
to join him and all that junk. Don’t worry about it.”
Harry laughed lightly and noticed Draco on the table. “Make it
habit of sitting in a bowl of potatoes, Malfoy?” Harry asked
with that sexy crooked grin. Draco noticed his position and that his
robe had fallen into the bowl and was covered in the potatoes. “Shut
up, Potter,” Draco spat. Harry shrugged. “That’s
enough,” Snape said thinking quickly before a fight formed
between them. “Certainly,
sir,” Harry said having his fun before tonight. “But I
think Draco looks good in mashed potatoes.” Harry turned and
walked to his own table leaving Draco almost mortified at his words.
Harry sat down while the host of students that had been standing on
their seats sat again and the chatter in the hall began again. Albus
walked to Harry’s table. “Was
there nothing else?” Albus asked in his serious tone. “I
will need to speak with you after the meal,” Harry said. “There
are a few matters that need to be discussed regarding a third party
and our mutual acquaintance.” Harry gave that look of
foreboding and Albus nodded that he understood Harry was speaking of
Draco and Voldemort. “Very
well,” Albus said. “Are there any others who need to be
present?” “Not
at this time,” Harry said meaning privacy was an issue. “My
office in…” Albus checked his pocket watch. “A
half hour?” Harry nodded and Albus walked away and out of the
Dining Hall. “You’re
not going to tell us what all that meant are you?” Ron asked. “I
can’t. It’s a matter of security,” Harry said.
“Sorry.” “We
understand,” Hermione said. “No, actually we don’t
understand, but we’re willing to listen later when you spill
your guts to us.” Hermione gave that smile that meant she would
eventually hear the conversation. “You
are so annoying,” Harry told her. The meal was finished and
Harry caught Draco’s eyes and motioned to the door. Draco stood
and left the Dining Hall quickly. Harry sat for another few minutes
and spoke to Ron. “Well, I need to go to Albus’ office.
I’ll see you all around.” Harry left the table and found
Draco up ahead in the hallway. “What
in hell was up with the snake?” Draco said quickly as Harry
caught up to his hurried pace toward Albus’ office. “That
was Voldemort’s snake, Nagini,” Harry said. “She
was giving me the message sent by her master. It seems as though the
invitation to join him still stands.” Harry grinned. “I
hate when you do that parseltongue crap,” Draco said in
disgust. “It’s creepy, Harry.” Harry giggled for a
moment and then in parseltongue to tease Draco Harry spoke. “I’m
in love with you, Draco,” Harry said in the snake language. “Stop
that,” Draco said as they walked. “What did you say
anyway?” “I’m
not telling,” Harry said. “But if you can guess, I’ll
tell you if you’re right.” Draco gave a very odd look to
Harry as they arrived at the stone gargoyle to Albus’ office. “I’ll
just imagine what you said then,” Draco said wisely. “Good,”
Harry said lightly. “Parsim Delecouth.” Harry said the
password. “You
know all the passwords around here?” Draco drawled. “Every
single one,” Harry said. “Even the one to your common
room.” “You
do not,” Draco said. “Pridus
Vetchia,” Harry said. Draco’s eyes widened. “How
did you know our password?” Draco asked. “I
know stuff,” Harry said. “I may need to get into the
Slyth common room and I need the password to do that.” Harry
and Draco arrived at Albus’ door and Harry walked in without
knocking. “Honey, I’m home.” Harry said to Albus
who was at his desk. Albus shook his head at Harry’s humor. “Draco,”
Albus said in greeting. Draco looked to Harry at the familiarity of
Albus’ welcome. “Sir,”
Draco gave the return greeting. Albus motioned for them both to sit.
The conversation was mostly between Albus and Draco with Harry adding
any additional information. Draco told Albus of his Death Eater
status and his most recent orders given to him and four other Death
Eaters in Slytherin. The plan to have Harry outside the Hogs Head bar
Saturday next. Albus was appreciative to Draco for the information. “Sir,
there is a Slytherin party tonight and Draco and I will be present,”
Harry said. “It was our intention to show the Slytherins how
friendly we are now so that those other students who are DEs could
report that Draco was indeed following his orders.” “Although
I don’t particularly like you being in a den of Death Eaters,
Harry, I think that would be an excellent idea,” Albus said. “A
den of Death Eaters? Sir, please. It’s hardly the first time,”
Harry pointed out. “Besides, they wouldn’t dare touch me.
I’m the prize for their master after all. We all know
Voldemort’s wrath at disobedience.” Draco swallowed hard.
Harry took Draco’s hand in his own. “I will not let him
touch you. Only I can promise you that, and I do. This fucker will
fry when I see him next.” “Harry,
watch your language,” Albus said. Draco snorted slightly as he
looked to the ground. “Sorry,
sir,” Harry said. “I tend to be a bit excitable when
speaking of killing the fu…uh…um…him.”
Albus gave that look over his glasses and Harry grinned innocently as
possible. “You
try my patience with you,” Albus said. Harry looked to his
watch.
“Oh
crap. I need to go. I have Quidditch practice in ten minutes,”
Harry said standing. “You coming?” Harry asked Draco. “To
your team practice? I hardly think I’d be welcome,” Draco
said. “I am captain of the Slytherin team, you idiot.” “Oh
yeah. Fine, then,” Harry said as he and Draco stood. Harry
surprised Draco by pulling him up close and giving him a quick kiss
as if they had been anywhere but the Headmaster’s office.
Draco’s eyes were wide at Harry’s display. “I’ll
meet you after practice. I’ll find you.” And with that
Harry had opened the door and was moving quickly down the stairs.
Draco froze. “Draco,”
Albus said slowly. Draco turned to face Albus with expectation. “I
can’t help but marvel at your relationship with Harry. I sense
that you each are genuine with the other and…and that
surprises me just a bit.” “Harry
is wonderful,” Draco grinned sincerely. “He always has
been. And that’s why I hated him. There is something within
Harry that is genuine and so pure that I’m almost afraid to
touch him sometimes. Even though he’s been through so much and
has become what he is, that thing…that whatever it is inside
him that makes him radiate, it has always drawn me to him
uncontrollably. And for years I fought it. But now that I’ve
surrendered to it, I am in sheer awe of him and simply all that he
is. I cannot tell you how…how utterly incredible Harry is
because there are no words to describe it.” Draco ended his
soliloquy gracefully. Albus looked to Draco as if he was examining
his very soul and Draco stood in truth and allowed it. “I
happen to agree with you,” Albus grinned. “Harry is much
more even that he realizes.” Draco was almost shocked at those
words that could mean a thousand different things. “Draco, have
you and Harry spoken of the treatments?” “Yes,
sir,” Draco said. “We have decided to take them together
beginning on Sunday.” “You
are aware of the painfulness of the quick detox?” Albus asked.
Draco nodded. “And has Harry mentioned to you that he will be
unable to take any potion or that any healing spell will not work on
him due to his stronger magical aura?” “Yes,
sir,” Draco said softly. “I feel guilty for being able to
have the healing spells and he will have to suffer much more than I.
Maybe I’ll deny the healing spells to relieve this guilt.” “Harry
would not allow you to do that,” Albus grinned just a bit. “I
think you know that.” Draco had to grin in spite himself as he
nodded that he knew Harry would never let Draco suffer needlessly.
Both stood in silence for a few long moments until Draco started to
become aware of the piercing strain. “Sir,
I want you to know that I truly love Harry very much,” Draco
said. “And I know that Harry is like…well, almost like a
son to you, and I want you to know that I would never hurt or harm
him. I just hope…I hope that I’m worthy of his
affections.” “Whomever
Harry chooses to love is his choice alone,” Albus said. “Harry
has never been in love before, Draco. And having been treated so
badly in his young life, Harry became very bitter to others. Uncaring
even for a while. I am grateful to see that Harry hasn’t lost
the ability to love and find one who loves him in return. I think
Harry has chosen wisely.” Nothing in the world had ever filled
Draco’s heart as those words. “Thank
you, sir,” Draco smiled. “That means a lot to me coming
from you.” “You
are free to go, Draco. And if you feel the need to speak with me at
any time, you are welcome to do so,” Albus said. Draco nodded. “I
will, sir,” Draco said before he turned and left the
Headmaster’s office for the first time in a good mood. Harry
had run all the way down to the pitch to the locker rooms and burst
through the doors to see his team had all changed into their practice
jerseys. “Where
the hell have you been?” Weaver said. “Dumbledore’s
office,” Harry said. “And don’t question me. If I
decide to be here I will and if I decide not to, I won’t.”
Harry stepped up nose to nose with him showing his authority. “Sorry,
man,” Weaver said. “Chill out, Harry. I was just asking.” “Well,
don’t ask again,” Harry said turning to his own locker
and changing quickly. The team started making their ways out onto the
pitch and the practice started. Harry grabbed his Firebolt and headed
out the door. When on the pitch, Harry pushed off the ground and
talked to the team in mid air. The team ran through their plays, and
each player gave a hard two hours until it was just beginning to get
dark. Harry called the team members over, prided them on their
efforts and each began to descend. “What
time is that party starting in Slytherin?” Ron asked. “In
an hour I think,” Harry said. “I think I’ll let
loose a bit since I have the pitch to myself for a while. I’ve
been working on some…well, some moves that are…well,
bordering on illegal.” “Illegal
moves, huh?” Ron grinned. “Let’s see.” Harry
laughed and darted off across the pitch and up higher into the sky.
With a hard turn to the left Harry did a looping roll and shot up
straight into the air. Ron caught a glimpse of something move down
below and watched as Draco saw Harry fly straight upward. Ron darted
down to where Draco was standing and landed on the grass next to him. “I
have always loved watching him fly,” Draco said crossing his
arms and leaning up against the goalpost never taking his eyes off
Harry. “I have never seen anyone fly like he does.” “Harry
has always been a natural. He’s showing me some…well,
bordering on illegal moves he said,” Ron admitted. They both
watched as Harry stopped his ascension into the sky. Harry stilled
for a moment and then Ron and Draco both went wide-eyed as Harry
stood on his broomstick. He was at least a hundred feet upward. “What
the hell is he…” Ron stopped suddenly when Harry jumped
off the broom and started to fall. “Oh
shit!” Draco yelled as he and Ron started to run across the
pitch to where Harry might land. They watched him falling, falling,
falling. Harry did two rolls in the air before stretching out his
hand and his broom was summoned to his hand just a few feet before he
hit the ground. Harry caught the broom, slung himself over the handle
and pulled up hard before he landed. “What in the name of hell
are you doing?!” Draco yelled in a panic. Harry laughed. “Nothing,”
Harry said lightly. “Just flying.” “Falling
was more like it!” Ron yelled. “You stupid fuck! Don’t
ever let me see you do that again!” “Fine,
don’t watch,” Harry laughed. “Oh come on. I’m
better than that. I’ve lived here for years and did a lot more
flying over the summers than I care to admit. I was the only student
here for months and…I sort of developed a few…well,
interesting moves.” “That
wasn’t interesting. That was suicide!” Draco yelled. “No,
that was interesting,” Harry said of the freefall. “You
should try it. Total thrill. Want to see something else?” “No!”
Ron yelled. “Not if it involves you leaving your broom!” “Fine,
then,” Harry said putting his broom over his shoulder. “Really.
You two need to have a little fun now and then.” Harry turned
with a laugh and headed toward the locker rooms. “You’re
insane!” Draco yelled to Harry’s back. Harry stopped and
turned back to them and started to walk back. With one swift motion,
Harry reached out and took Draco’s hand and slung the broom
between their legs with a hard shove, Harry had taken Draco up on the
broom with him. “What the hell are you doing?!” “I’m
taking you up,” Harry said. “Hold on.” Draco moved
closer and wrapped his arms around Harry’s waist and chest.
Leaning forward a bit Harry darted fast with a hard turn and went
straight up again. “Harry!”
Draco yelled in a bit of fright. “Stop!” Harry laughed.
“I mean it!” “Relax,”
Harry said as he halted the broom with a hard left skid. “Now
jump.” “What?
No!” Draco yelled. “Harry, I can’t summon a broom
or…please, don’t do this.” “Do
you trust me?” Harry asked. Draco swallowed. “Yes,
but…” Draco looked down. “Harry, I’m afraid
to jump. Please, don’t do this.” “Draco,
I trust you with my life. Catch me,” Harry said as he flipped
his leg over the side of the broom and started falling. “Harry!”
Draco screamed and took off on the broom in a circled descent. Draco
moved under Harry and he grabbed the broomstick hard and slung
himself over it and behind Draco. “You idiot! Are you crazy?” “Yeah.
I guess,” Harry said. “But I trust you more than you
trust me. Take us down.” Draco leaned forward and flew them
both down where they landed softly on the pitch. “I
do trust you,” Draco said. “But…you scared me.” “I
had no fear that you wouldn’t catch me. None,” Harry said
flatly with total honesty. “Until you can say that, then you
don’t trust me at all. Isn’t it odd that I can trust you
so completely and you’re a DE, but you don’t trust me at
all and I’m Harry Potter?” Harry said with a grin. Harry
took his broom, slung it over his shoulder and walked to the locker
rooms leaving Draco stunned and at a loss for words. “I
think he’s lost it,” Ron said. Ron and Draco started to
walk toward the locker room. “He’s just crazy lately.” “He’s
right,” Draco said. “I say I trust him but when he asked
me to jump…I couldn’t do it.” “But
damn! That was a hundred feet up,” Ron said. “Ron,
if Harry said he’d catch you, would you have jumped?”
Draco turned to Ron as they stopped. It was a tense moment. “I…I
don’t know,” Ron said. “I would believe anything
Harry said to me without question.” “Then
why didn’t I do it?” Draco asked. Each shrugged. When
they arrived at the locker rooms, Ron opened the door and Draco
stood. All the other team members had gone and Harry was in the
shower. “Come
on in,” Ron said motioning into the Gryffindor locker room. “Are
you sure?” Draco said looking inside briefly. Ron motioned
again and Draco came inside to see the Gryffindor banners, maroon
colored lockers and all things resounding of the lions. “There’s
Harry’s locker,” Ron pointed it out. “Open it.” “No,
I can’t do that,” Draco said. “That’s Harry’s
things.” “Open
it,” Ron said with meaning. Draco shook his head and Ron came
over to open the locker. Draco looked and his grin faded. There were
clippings and photos of Draco during his games. Draco grinned again.
“He has kept these things for years. See that? That is your
first game together. And there is…that’s when you were
injured and broke your arm during that game against Ravenclaw. And
this one is a picture Collin took of you with the team after you’d
beaten Ravenclaw again in fifth year.” “He
kept all this stuff on me?” Draco asked looking at the
clippings. “Why?” “He
told us that you were his only competition on the pitch,” Ron
said. “And that he had to keep track of your moves. And we
stupidly believed him.” Ron gave Draco a look before Ron went
to his own locker and began to change. Draco kept looking over the
clippings until Harry appeared. “Are
you having fun going through my stuff?” Harry asked with a grin
as he came over wearing a towel. “Yes,
I am,” Draco said opening the locker a bit wider and pointing
to the evidence. “Stalker.” “I
am not. I was merely keeping tabs on my opponents,” Harry
defended as he pulled out his clean faded jeans and began to put them
on. “There
are no other opponents on your locker except me,” Draco said.
“I wonder why that is?” “You
were my only competition. And you still are,” Harry said. “You
are an exceptional flyer. And you challenge me like no other.” “Uh
huh,” Draco said not believing that’s all it was. Harry
grinned. “And
I like watching you fly,” Harry said buttoning up the crisp red
and tiny black plaid shirt and stuffing the shirt tails into his
tight jeans. “You have remarkable control on a broom, your form
is perfect, and your turns are tight and exact. The only thing you
don’t have is confidence to beat me.” “I
find that confidence is hard to have when I’ve never
succeeded,” Draco said.
“I
am only one flyer. One seeker,” Harry said. “I can be
defeated, you know. I’m not as invincible as I appear.” “I
don’t believe you,” Draco said confidently. “I
think you are invincible. I honestly do.” “I
do feel pain and I can die regardless of what you hear occasionally
about me,” Harry said tying his shoes. Harry looked up to
Draco. Harry allowed just a small amount of his own vulnerability
show. “I am just a wizard, Draco. That’s all. I’m
nothing more than that. I do have abilities, but I’m only human
like you. And…” Harry stood. “I do have fear on
occasion…as do you.” “I
refuse to admit fear,” Draco said. “You
just told me that you were afraid when we were on the broom,”
Harry said. “Oh.
Damn,” Draco said. “Well, I won’t do that again.” “I
am part Gryffindor,” Harry said. “Which means I’m
supposed to be brave. What does that mean when I’m facing
Voldemort? Am I not supposed to fear at all?” “No,
of course not,” Draco said. “When facing an enemy of that
magnitude…anyone would be scared half witless.” “Then
what does being brave mean?” Harry asked. “Is it standing
up for what is right? Doing the right thing always regardless of how
much it will hurt or pain others?” “Yes,
I suppose,” Draco said slipping his hands onto Harry’s
fully dressed waist. Harry backed Draco up against his locker until
they were nose to nose. “Then
being brave is a good thing,” Harry said. “Because I am
just brave enough to tell you something that could end my life.”
Draco was taken back. “What?
What are you telling me?” Draco asked in a bit of dread. Harry
grinned just a tiny bit. “I’m
giving in. I’m surrendering to you,” Harry said shortly
before he took great pleasure in covering Draco’s mouth with
his own. Their tongues swirled around the others within the warmth of
the perfectly aligned kiss. Harry was only about an inch taller than
Draco, but it was always Draco’s arms that encircled Harry’s
neck as he stood on tiptoe. Draco was thin but very firm and taut.
Harry’s arms slid effortlessly around the one he held and
kissed so tenderly. Ron came out to find them in the throes of the
kiss. “That’s
enough, please,” Ron teased. “Go
to hell,” Harry said diving in again for the nourishment he
sought at Draco’s sweet lips and hauling Draco’s leg up
over his own thigh. “I
don’t think I’ll ever get used seeing you kiss Malfoy,”
Ron said as he pulled out his clothing and began to dress. “My
brain just totally shuts down when I see it. And I can’t decide
if it’s because you’re kissing Malfoy or if it’s
because you’re just kissing another guy. Freaks me out.”
The massive kiss broke. Harry and Draco sat on the bench. “I
can understand that,” Draco said. “No,
you can’t,” Ron said sitting to put on his socks and
shoes. “Harry never kisses anybody. Never. Ever. He won’t
even kiss my mum at Christmas on her cheek. And now he’s all
lips when it comes to you, Draco.” “And
what business is it of yours who I kiss, Ron?” Harry asked in
that teasing way. “It’s
every bit my business,” Ron grinned. “I don’t want
you to make me look bad. I taught him everything he knows of kissing,
Draco.” “Yes,
he told me that,” Draco said. Ron gave them both a sharp look. “You
told him that?” Ron asked Harry. “Yeah,”
Harry said. “Why? Embarrassed about kissing me?” “Yes,”
Ron said turning back to finishing tying his other shoe. “Yes,
I am.” “Why?
I think Harry’s a great kisser,” Draco said. “And
Draco is a fabulous kisser,” Harry hummed in some type of
hungered way. “Ron’s not bad either, Draco. You can kiss
Ron if you want.” “Um…that’s
okay,” Draco said. “Ron’s sickeningly straight. I
bet Ron has never kissed another guy besides you, Harry.” Harry
turned to Ron. “Have
you?” Harry asked. “No,”
Ron said. “You know you’re always making me do stupid
shit.” “I
didn’t make you kiss me,” Harry said. “I think I
told you that I didn’t need your stupid kissing lessons
anyway.” “Right,”
Ron said sarcastically. “I’d hate to see how good a
kisser you would have been without my help. You know you were awful.
Admit it.” “Okay.
I admit it,” Harry said. “But if you want to kiss Draco
and learn something yourself, you’re welcome to. Draco could
teach you, Ron.” “No
way,” Ron said. “I have hoards of women who’ve told
me I’m simply the best.” “Oh,
really? And have you had half the school tell you that? Because I
have,” Draco challenged. “As
a matter of fact, I have,” Ron said in his arrogant way. “You
probably learned to kiss from the half that I taught to kiss
properly.” Harry laughed. “Oh
hell,” Harry said. “I can’t believe you just said
that.” “It’s
true,” Ron said. “Everyone knows I’m the best.” “I
don’t know it,” Draco said. “Care to prove it?”
Ron paled as Draco stood. Harry laughed silently to himself as he
looked to the floor. “Come on. Show me what you think you got.” “I
can’t do that,” Ron said shaking his head. “Then
you’ll always be second and beneath me, Weasel,” Draco
said haughtily. “Fine,
then,” Ron said coming over to Draco and stopping still. Harry
watched in amusement. “Go
on,” Harry said. “I cannot wait to see this.” “Harry,
you’re fucked up,” Ron said. “I…I can’t
kiss Malfoy. I just can’t do it.” “Oh
holy hell,” Draco said before he pulled Ron over hard and into
a kiss of mass proportions. Harry watched as his lover and his best
friend kissed hard. Ron pushed Draco up against the locker hard. It
was almost fighting for control. Harry crossed his arms as the kiss
lasted before each pulled away. “Not
bad,” Draco said. “I think I know a few things about you
now.” “And
I know I know a few things about you,” Ron said. “You
taught Mandy and Sylvia both to kiss.” “And
you taught Claudia Shell,” Draco said. Each nodded. “How
interesting,” Harry said. “I think I just got severely
turned on by watching my lover and my best friend kissing. I’m
one sick bastard.” “Yes,
honey, you are,” Draco winked at Harry and looked to his watch.
“We’d better go if we’re planning on getting to the
party.” “I
need to stop by my room first,” Harry said. “No, Ron, not
in the Tower.” The three left and walked up to the school. Ron
broke the other way while Draco and Harry turned to walk to the den.
They entered quickly and took the crates. “Full or half?” “Half,”
Draco said of the amount of drug he wanted. Harry dumped half the
packet into the spoon and prepared the liquid drug. Draco drew up the
syringes. Each found a vein and plunged the drug into their systems.
The needles were dropped onto the crate carelessly. “You know
that we’ll have to slow up on this shit because there’s
just enough to last until our detox date.” “I
know it,” Harry said. “I could go get more if we need it,
but I think we can make this amount last if we only use every four
hours and take only a half each time.” Harry stood just a bit
wobbly and went to the bathroom. When he came out he had four
baggies. Two were filled with pills, one was full of clear vials of
cocaine, and the other was filled with small vials of a purple smokey
substance. Harry sat and divided up the drugs into small packets for
distribution for the party and Draco assisted. “You’re
like some drug kingpin of Hogwarts,” Draco said. “I
told Albus that I wasn’t selling drugs,” Harry said. “But
that was before we decided to do this. I feel terrible about it. But
I need to get rid of this before we detox and I still have it. You
want a vial of this lotuscel? This shit will fuck you up bad.” “I’ve
never used it,” Draco said. “You’re
kidding me,” Harry said pulling out the little vial of purple
smoke. “I
don’t even know how to use it,” Draco said. Harry looked
shocked. “What’s the high like?” “It’s
a bit like coke,” Harry said. “An upper. Makes you feel
like you’re flying for a few seconds it’s so intense then
it gives an incredible feeling of contentment. Want to try it?” “After
we just shot up?” Draco asked. “We safe?” “Oh
yeah. I do it all the time,” Harry said. Harry twisted the top
of the vial a small amount and put the vial to his nose. Harry held
the other nostril closed and inhaled deeply from the vial. A small
amount of the purple smoke was drawn into his lungs and Harry
breathed deeply for a moment. “Just inhale it. Oh hell that
shit is so good. Here. Try this.” Harry handed Draco the vial
and Draco imitated what Harry did. The intensity of the high took
Draco off guard and he held onto the crate for a moment as he closed
his eyes and felt as if the whole world were falling beneath his
feet. “Holy
shit!” Draco yelled as he came plummeting back down to earth.
“Oh my god, Harry. That was…oh hell.” Harry let
Draco sit for a few minutes and reel in the high of a new drug before
he noticed Draco leveling out. “Good,
huh?” Harry asked. “I love that shit. You can have that
vial if you want it.” “How
much is this? I mean how many doses? Tell me about this shit because
I think I just found my new obsession,” Draco said looking at
the vial. Harry chuckled. “That’s
about ten doses. And that high you just got from it only lasts about
two minutes,” Harry said. “That vial costs about twenty.” “That’s
cheap,” Draco said. “Where do you get this stuff?” “I
made it,” Harry grinned and wiggled his eyebrows. Draco looked
at him oddly. “I did. I can make it here in the bathroom out of
several common potion ingredients and a few muggle medicines. It’s
simple really.” “Oh
my god,” Draco said looking to the vial. “Why isn’t
there more of this stuff around?” “Nobody
knows how to make it but me,” Harry said. “I learned it
from a wizard in London. He was killed just after that about two
years ago. I got on the Hiddle injections and…well I don’t
do it much anymore. I liked the needle better.” “But
this shit is incredible,” Draco said still looking at the vial.
“Oh man. I love it. How often can I hit this?” “As
soon as you come down from the last hit, you can hit it again,”
Harry said. “And there is no withdrawal from it if you decide
to quit at any moment. It’s the perfect drug. Made by yours
truly.” “You
are amazing,” Draco said with a grin. “This is a potion.
You made a potion.” “Yeah.
That’s the limit of my potions knowledge,” Harry said. “I
know about a lot of things, and drugs just happens to be one of them.
I studied these drugs before. I researched how each ingredient acted
on the body and brain. And in trying to make that lotuscel, I managed
to perfect the amounts of each ingredient I used to make it the
perfectly ultimate high for maximum effect.” “You
did well,” Draco said. “I’m hitting this again.”
Harry nodded. Draco hit the vial again while Harry counted out and
distributed the pills and vials into the individual baggies. “Holy
shit.” Draco said of his intense high. “Maybe
I shouldn’t have shown you that before you go to detox,”
Harry said. “I’m so stupid.” “Damn,”
Draco said with his eyes closed. “That is one fucked up high.
And it’s just short enough to give a boost, but just long
enough to feel so damn good.” “I’ll
tell you what’s good,” Harry said. “When you’ve
shot up on the Hiddle and having sex, just when you start to orgasm,
take a hit of that lotuscel. Will blow your fucking mind.” “Oh
god I have to try that,” Draco said. “Fuck me right now
and let me feel it.” “We
can’t,” Harry said. “We have to go sell drugs at a
party. Sorry. But I’ll hook you up after the party. I’ll
give you want you want.” “But…I
was supposed to do you,” Draco said. “Fine.
Whatever you want,” Harry said as he finished the packaging. “But…but
I want to do you,” Draco said. “But I also want to feel
this.” “We’ll
decide later. Don’t worry about it,” Harry said. “I’m
not going anywhere.” “I
know you’re not,” Draco reached for Harry’s hand
and took it. “It’s good to hear you say that.” “I
know what would be good to hear,” Harry said. “But we
can’t say it. Are you ready to go?” Harry stood. Draco
knew the words Harry wanted to hear. “Yeah,
I’m ready,” Draco said. “Give me half of that and
I’ll sell it for you.” Harry handed half the packets to
Draco who put them into his robe pocket. “If
you think you’ll get caught with that on you, put your hand
over your pocket and wandlessly give the spell ‘evapolitus
narcolamia’ and they’ll disappear. Here.” Harry
handed Draco a syringe. “Say the spell and make that
disappear.” Draco practiced muttering the words several times
before he held the syringe and wandlessly sent the spell and it
vanished. “There. I don’t want you getting caught with
any of that.” “Where
do the drugs go?” Draco asked. “Can you re-summon and
retrieve them?” Harry walked over to another crate on the floor
and picked it up. There was a small brown box there. Harry reached
into the box and picked up the syringe Draco had just vanished. “I’m
not stupid,” Harry said with a grin. “I made that spell
to send anything I vanish with it into this hidden box. I usually
keep a concealment charm on the box so that nobody can see it. Harry
put the things back. “We ready?” “You
just have an answer for everything, don’t you?” Draco
asked. “No.
I just had years alone to think of stupid things like this,”
Harry said. “I’ve used that spell lots of times. Come
on.” The pair headed out the door of the den and were walking
down the corridors together stride for stride. “There
will be dancing at this party,” Draco said. “Will you
dance with me?” “That
depends on what kind of dancing you want me to do,” Harry said.
“If we dance like we did in the club in London, well…I’m
not sure how your housemates will react to that.” “Like
they’d dare comment on anything I do,” Draco said.
“They’re scared to death of me.” “Good,”
Harry said. “I like that you’re in control. One of your
best qualities. And, Draco, for the record I don’t take any
crap off anybody. So, if one of your housemates starts something with
me, I will finish it.” “I
would expect no less,” Draco said. “Whatever you do is
fine with me.”
The
pair walked all the way down to the Slytherin dungeon and entered the
common room. The room was almost completely dark. The huge wrought
iron light fixtures that hung above didn’t hold the normally
bright candlelight, but each candle held a dark green, blue or red
flame lending to the atmosphere. The loud music was pounding and a
host of bodies were dancing. Many more lined the skirts of the room.
Some couples were kissing, some were talking and others doing various
other sordid activity. Draco took Harry’s hand and led him over
to one favorite dark corner. “There’s
Blaise coming this way. I’ll handle it,” Draco said as
Harry sat on a green leather chair. Draco sat on the arm. Blaise came
over. “I
need to speak with you,” Blaise said. Draco held one packet of
the pills in his hand. Blaise slipped him the cash and Draco handed
over the packet smoothly so as not to be detected. Blaise went on her
way. “Nice,”
Harry said of the transaction. Throughout the evening the same scene
played out with both of them. The cash was flowing in and the
distribution was moving about quickly. “Hey,”
Danny said. “You got anything?” Danny whispered to Harry. “What
do you want?” Harry asked equally as quiet. “What
do you got?” Danny asked. “Amperlius,
lotuscel, hiddle, coke and ludes,” Harry said. “Forty
per.” “Give
me the lotuscel,” Danny said slipping Harry the cash. Harry
reached into his robe pocket and slipped the baggie with the vial
into Danny’s hand in a secretive way. “Thanks man.”
Harry nodded. “That
was the last of the lotuscel for me,” Harry told Draco. “I
have two left,” Draco said. “Keep
them for yourself if you want them,” Harry said. “Or sell
it and I’ll make you more if you want. Only takes me about an
hour to make ten vials.” “Damn,”
Draco said. “Stop tempting me. I’ll sell these two if
anybody wants it. Would you like to dance with me?” Harry took
Draco’s hand and each went to dance. After dancing for just a
bit, three more people came over wanting substances. Harry and Draco
went back to the dark corner and gave them what they wanted. “Looks
like we need to just stay here,” Harry said of the corner.
“This is a lot easier with you helping me get rid of this.” “My
house is always coming to me for shit,” Draco said. “I
can get basically anything I want, but…I never sold much like
this.” “I
used to sell in the hallways,” Harry said. “I once sold
two baggies in front of McGonagall. She never even knew it.” “You’re
insane,” Draco said. “You could have gotten expelled.” “They
won’t expel me,” Harry said. “I’m Harry
Potter, Draco. They can’t touch me. What the fuck are they
going to do? Where would they send me? I have to be here. So I do
whatever the fuck I want to.” “You
know, I think you’re bitter over that,” Draco said. Harry
gave Draco a hard look. “I do. I think you want them to catch
you and threaten you with something and show you that it doesn’t
matter who the fuck you are, that you shouldn’t be doing shit
like this.” Harry laughed. “Maybe
you’re right,” Harry said. “I need discipline then.
Is that what you’re suggesting?” “You
want me to discipline you?” Draco teased. “Give you a
good spanking?” Harry thought it over for a moment. “Are
you into that? Sadism? Masochism? Bondage?” Harry asked. Draco
smirked. “I
could be. You never know,” Draco teased. “Are you?” “I
could be. You never know,” Harry teased back with the same
response. “Maybe
I intend to find out,” Draco challenged. “Maybe
I intend to let you,” Harry gave the appropriate response. The
party was going along fine.

Temptations, Telling the Headmaster, Slytherin Party
