“Here,
Ron,” Harry said handing him his and Hermione’s drink.
Harry came around and handed Draco his own kindly with a smile.
“There you are, my dear.” Draco took the drink timidly
and took a large swig. “You alcoholic.” Harry teased
turning up his beer draining half of it. “What am I going to do
with you?” “That’s
the question, isn’t it?” Draco asked Harry and gave
Hermione a quick glance that Harry didn’t miss. Harry looked
away to the dance floor for a moment and then reached out for
Hermione’s hand. “Hermione…”
Harry started when Hermione drew her hand back quickly. Harry smirked
just a bit. “Don’t
try that shit with me,” Hermione said with a smirk of her own.
“You just want to touch my hand and play around in my head you
sorry Legilimens.” Harry laughed. “I’m
losing my touch,” Harry said. “Voldemort has nothing on
you, Herm.” “I
know you, Harry,” Hermione said. “You notice things like
the look Draco just gave me and you want to know about it. So go to
hell.” Draco laughed and Ron grinned. Harry nodded. “There’s
a reason I keep you around, Herm,” Harry said. “And
that’s part of it. I keep the company of very few who actually
challenge me in some way. And you’re definitely a keeper.”
Harry gave her a hard look before slinging back his beer again.
Hermione sipped her own drink shaking her head at him. “You’re
a bastard is what you are,” Hermione snapped. Ron snorted a
laugh. “She’s
right there, dork,” Ron said. “You are a bastard.” “It’s
so nice to have friends,” Harry said to them. “What about
you? Do you think I’m a total bastard, too?” Harry asked
Draco. “I
don’t have to think it. I know it,” Draco said. Harry
nodded a bit to himself. “Okay,
I’m a bastard then,” Harry said with a grin slouching
back in his chair. “No good and worthless junkie. I suppose you
wouldn’t even piss on me if I was on fire then, huh?” “Absolutely
not,” Draco said. “It would serve your stupid ass right
for being on fire in the first place.” They all laughed at
Draco’s biting comment. “You’d
still catch me if I jumped,” Harry challenged. Draco rolled his
eyes and turned away. Harry snickered to himself. The drinks were
left on the table and they danced for several more songs until they
were all tired. “I’m
so tired,” Hermione said. “We need to go. It’s a
quarter till five.” “Yeah,
I guess we’d better go,” Ron said. “This has been
great.” The four followed Harry from the club that was still
jumping with dancers and drinkers. When they stepped out into the
night, the cool air felt glorious. Harry led them down the walkway a
bit and then turned into some dark alleyway. They followed. “This
is a good a place as any,” Harry said taking Draco’s
hand. A rustling in the alleyway back toward the back made Harry snap
his head around. “What
is that?” Ron asked. Harry started walking toward the rustling. “Harry!”
Hermione said. “Come on.” “Hold
on,” Harry said. “Something’s not right.” “Oh
crap,” Draco said taking a few steps in Harry’s direction
when two large thugs came bustling out of the alleyway dragging
another man who was fighting with them. “Let
go of me!” the third man screamed. Harry stopped just a few
feet from them squared up. “Shut
up, Farley!” one of the attackers said. “Let
him go,” Harry said. The three turned around to see one
seventeen year old in a suit standing there. The largest man gave a
snort of a laugh. “Beat
it, kid,” he growled. “I
said let him go,” Harry said. Ron and Draco were on either side
of Harry behind and Hermione wrapped her arms around herself somewhat
back. “And
I thought I told you to beat it. Shut your mouth, turn around and
walk away,” the bully said. “And
I thought I told you to let him go you sorry piece of filth,”
Harry insulted with a touch of a grin. The largest man threw Farley
toward his partner and took a few steps in Harry’s direction.
Harry never moved or flinched. Ron and Draco took a few steps back.
The man was reaching out for Harry when Harry shoved him. The look on
the man’s face was sheer anger and he lunged. With his quick
reflexes Harry had punched the man, grabbed his head and rammed his
knee up into his face, grabbed his arm and had him in a hold on the
ground screaming in pain in a matter of seconds. “Call off the
others.” “Rich!
Let him go,” the bleeding bully said. “What?
Oh fuck, Grave. He’s just a kid!” Rich said in irritation
that Harry had him in such a hold. “I
said let him go,” Grave said. “Let me go, you fucker.”
Harry let the man’s arm go and he stumbled forward and stood.
The one the two bullies let go ran past Harry and his group and
disappeared into the street. Harry stood arms bowed out in his
fighting stance. “You
made a terrible error there, boy,” Rich said coming over to
stand alongside his bully partner giving Harry a look of sheer rage.
“Now it’s your ass on the line.” Rich gave a look
to the other three with Harry. “Pretty little thing she is.” “Shut
your fat mouth,” Harry said calmly. “Don’t even
think about it or I’ll break you.” Rich laughed hard into
the alley. “You
just picked on the wrong guy, jerk,” Rich said in humor. “You
think you can fight? I’m a champion little boy.” Harry
smirked. “I’m
terrified. Really, I am,” Harry said with that cool sarcasm.
“You have no idea what I could do to you.” “Is
that so?” Rich said taking a step and then taking three swipes
at Harry who dodged him easily. “Right smart little prat,
aren’t you?” Rich then took a few martial arts jabs and
kicks to which Harry deflected easily. Draco and Ron kept backing up
and Ron took Hermione with an arm around her. The other bully came
around and Harry noted them both. “Harry,
be careful,” Draco said. “These
two are no match for me, Draco,” Harry said. “Draco?
What kind of a pansy name is that?” Grave laughed. “Little
fag.” “Oh
no,” Ron said. “You shouldn’t have said that.” “And
what are you going to do about it there, Red?” Rich said. “Don’t
speak to him with your unworthy tongue,” Harry said. “You
sicken me.” Grave then spit on Harry’s shoulder. “Fuck
you!” Grave said. Harry looked calmly to the spittle that ran
over his shoulder. “Just
for that I’m breaking your arm,” Harry said. Grave
reached out and Harry grabbed him. Harry took the opportunity to
launch himself with his legs and a scissoring swift kick directly
into Rich’s face which hit with a pop and spun him to the
ground out cold. Harry was so quick that Grave only had time to try
and hit him and miss twice before Harry had punched him once in the
ribs twice in the face and had the man on his knees. Harry grabbed
his arm, twisted it and with his elbow came down onto Grave’s
arm hard. The gut wrenching crunch of bones was heard a split second
before Grave’s scream of pain was heard. Harry watched the man
crumple forward at his feet bowing to his defeat. “You…you
fucker!” Grave breathed heavily while holding his arm. “You
broke my arm!” “I
think I told you that was my intent,” Harry said. “Don’t
be fucking around with Farley anymore. He didn’t take your
shit. Mertz did.” “And
what do you know about it?” Grave asked. Harry knelt and gave
Grave a look of pure evil hatred. “I
know everything,” Harry said quietly. “And then next time
you see me, you will kneel to me like this again, or you die. Do you
understand or do I have to break more bones?” The thought Grave
was having in his pain was evident on his face as he nodded once. “I
didn’t hear you, Grave.” The man looked shocked that
Harry knew that name. “Yeah…yeah,
whatever,” Grave said in fear. Harry stood again. “Good.
Get treatment for that arm. Don’t let me catch you and Rich
around here again making trouble. I know all about Devin’s
deals,” Harry said and turned around rolling his eyes to the
other three. Harry took Draco’s hand and turned back to the man
who was wincing in his pain. “And if I find out you ever let
the word fag come out of your mouth, you’ll wish one broken arm
was all you got.” Harry turned and escorted his other three
from the alleyway. “What
on earth made you do that?” Hermione scolded. “It
was an uncontrollable Gryffindor moment,” Harry said.
“Injustice. Farley didn’t take it and he was innocent.” “Ever
the hero to the rescue,” Draco drawled. “Are you going
for a personal record today at saving people?” Harry had to
stop and bend over he was laughing so hard. “Oh
god…” Harry laughed. “I never though about that.
You must think I’ve completely lost it.” “I
do,” Draco said. “There was no reason for you to get
involved in that. It didn’t even concern you.” “You’re
right,” Harry said taking Draco’s hand again. “It
didn’t. Forgive me. I can’t control it when something is
going on like that. I just…have to do something. It wasn’t
right.” “You
really hurt that guy, man,” Ron said. “He’ll be
lucky to ever use that arm again.” “No,
I only made a clean break,” Harry said. “It sounded worse
than it was. He’ll be okay in six weeks. I know how to make
break for more damage. Thanks to Moody. He taught me that.” “Kneel
to you?” Draco asked. Harry grinned and shrugged. “You
have an ego is what you have.” “I
had to make him realize that he was humiliated,” Harry said.
“That was a mind thing. If he admitted that he would kneel,
then he was defeated in his mind already. Physical pain is nothing to
take, but the mental game tells him that he was outmatched and he
surrendered. It’s much harder to break a mind than a bone.” “Did
Mad Eye teach you that, too?” Hermione asked. “No,
I made that one up just now,” Harry said. “Catchy don’t
you think?” The three laughed and Harry just shrugged as they
walked along talking about the fight. Harry explained every move to
Ron and Draco who were much more interested in fighting than
Hermione. They passed by several window fronts of shops that were
closed and the daybreak was on the way. Draco was looking into a
jewelry store window with Harry and Hermione. “Oh
look how nice,” Hermione said of the ring display. “I
love diamonds.” “I
love emeralds,” Draco said never looking to either of them. “How
nice,” Hermione said with her quick wit. “And
appropriate.” Harry gave a soft laugh. Draco just ginned into
the window display. “Look
at that, Harry,” Draco said quietly. “It’s a
Griffin.” Draco gave Harry a smile. “Aren’t
I a snake?” Harry asked. “I
have a hard time classifying you,” Draco said. “You
defend the helpless but you also break people like rag dolls because
you can. You’re a very odd mix. Intriguing. I like studying
you.” “I’ll
be your test subject then,” Harry said looking to him and
placing a tiny kiss on the cleft of Draco’s jaw near his ear.
Harry’s breath was warm and intoxicating on Draco’s skin
sending tingles all along his spine. They each nuzzled their faces
together for several moments relishing in the touch of the other. “I
love you,” Draco whispered with his eyes closed reeling in his
love induced high. “I love you so much, Harry.” Harry
turned Draco’s face to him with a single finger on Draco’s
jaw and lay claim onto Draco’s lips with his own and parting
them effortlessly. Draco was aware of his own surrendered
helplessness at even the simplest touch of his lover. “And
I love you, my dragon,” Harry whispered onto Draco’s
parted lips during the kiss. “Don’t hurt me.” Draco
took the entire kiss offered him but tucked away those words into his
mind. “Would
you two hurry up?” Ron asked in feigned irritation. Harry drew
back to meet Draco’s grin with his own. “We
have a rough few days ahead, Ron,” Draco said. “Give us a
break.” The four set off again and once again Harry led them
into an alleyway. They quickly took hands and apparated back to
Aberforth’s sitting room. The fire in the grate was nothing but
ash and cinders. The house was eerily quiet. Harry held a finger to
his lips for quiet and the four walked quietly out the front door
where Harry locked it and put up a locking charm. When they’d
walked around back, Grindy was grazing in the field nearby. With a
quick whistle the thestral came galloping near and surprisingly
settled herself between the bars of the carriage. Harry flicked a
hand and the harnesses took hold. “Hogwarts,
Harry’s entrance,” Harry said as they all settled into
the carriage. The dawn was approaching. “I’m
cold,” Draco said. “Me,
too,” Hermione agreed. Harry flicked his hand again and gave
each a nice warm fleece throw whose softness was sheer comfort. “Oh
how nice and warm.” Ron put his arm around Hermione and Harry
did the same with Draco who snuggled up to him and laid his head on
Harry’s shoulder. Draco covered himself and Harry up with the
blanket. Harry didn’t object. “This was a fun night,
Harry. Thank you for taking us,” Hermione said. “My
pleasure,” Harry said. “We’ll do this again another
night sometime if Voldemort doesn’t kill me.” “I
don’t think that will happen,” Ron said. “I’ve
never been more confident in you than now. With good reason. You’re
prepared and you know your enemy well.” “And
you just don’t lose. Isn’t that what you yelled at me
across the hall at breakfast?” Draco asked. “Did
I say that?” Harry asked. “That doesn’t sound like
me. You must be mistaken.” “No,
I think it was you,” Draco said. “That same idiot that
had me jump off my broom when I was blind as a bat at fifty feet in
the air. Yeah, it was you.” “It
was more like seventy feet, and at the time it was sort of important
that you got to the ground,” Harry said. “If I remember
correctly there were a few hundred dead things wanting to ingest your
soul.” “Did
you find out who cast that spell?” Ron asked. “It
had to be Pansy,” Draco said. “It had to be her.” “Why
would she do that?” Hermione asked. “I know she was
probably aiming at Harry, but…why?” “Who
knows,” Draco said. “Could
be a number of reasons,” Harry said. “Pansy must be
jealous of me for taking you from her, Draco. That’s the first
reason on my list anyway.” “I’ve
not had anything with her in years,” Draco said. “Well…not…like
together or anything like that. She’d drop by my room a few
nights a week but it was nothing but sex.” “Not
to her,” Harry said. “She loves you. I can tell. And so
does Blaise. They actually have a rivalry between them concerning you
that I sense. It’s like…Blaise has a one up on Pansy
because Pansy doesn’t know you were messing around with Blaise.
Is that right?” “Yeah,”
Draco laughed. “That’s exactly right.” Harry gave a
soft laugh. “You sneaky shit.” “I
can tell by looking at people sometimes what they think without
touching them,” Harry said. “I get better and better at
it. Albus’ mind is open to me totally and I can read him so
easy. Every thought he has he shares with me. We rarely speak when
we’re alone. It’s not necessary most of the time. But
with others, I get…a bit mixed up if I’m in a group of
people. I’m still working on that trying to pinpoint which
thought belongs to which person. I have to be careful to…keep…to
not intrude into others’ thoughts sometimes. It’s
tempting though. Albus pitches a fit when I do it with the Aurors.”
Harry grinned. “You
were going to teach me to form a thought block,” Draco said.
Harry nodded. With that Harry explained to the group how to form the
thought block as they rode in the carriage. The in depth detail of
the thought processes required took a few minutes and Harry asked
each of them to try it. Hermione was first and Harry took her hand to
try and read the thought. He read it quickly and guided her until she
could properly block a thought. The same thing with Ron and finally
it was Draco’s turn. “This
is most important to you,” Harry said. “You’ll need
to block out your thoughts if you’re ever around Voldemort
again. You know too much to be trusted in his company.” “Do
it,” Draco said. Harry took Draco’s hand and probed into
his mind a bit. “Stop that.” Harry laughed softly. “Interesting,”
Harry said. “Strippers.” “Shut
up,’ Draco said. “It was a long time ago. Just…try
to get this thought from me and don’t be nosey.” “Have
something to hide?” Harry asked. “Yes.
Plenty,” Draco said. Harry tried to work around the block and
did so after much work. “Dammit.” “Use
more and concentrate harder. Try again,” Harry said and then
gave Draco a few moments to concentrate. Harry tried again and worked
very hard and finally got the thought of the mashed potato incident. “You
like me covered in food?” Harry asked. “Dammit!”
Draco yelled. “You are breaking me. Help me with this.”
Harry explained a few more things that may help Draco form a stronger
block and after several more attempts Harry could make out just a
bit, but not get the complete thought. He explained to Draco as much.
“Well, a partial thought isn’t as bad as a whole one.” “I
worked hard to break through to get that, too,” Harry admitted.
“It wasn’t easy and I’m one of the best Legilimens
on the planet. But unfortunately, so is Voldemort. I suspect we’re
about the same with that. He’s good at mind work. It’s
one of his strong points. He’s a brilliant wizard. He really
is.” “Don’t
even say that about him,” Ron said with disgust. “He’s
nothing but a psychopath.” “But
he’s a genius,” Harry said. “Very intelligent. I
have no guilt in admitting that because he’s a formidable foe.
He’s clever, cunning and always comes up with the most
interesting schemes. That takes a lot of planning and creativity. He
amazes me with his resolve each and every time. I could probably
really like him if he wasn’t so damn evil and was forcing me to
kill him.” Harry gave a short laugh of the absurdity. “Did
you ever learn to dance properly as in a waltz?” Draco asked
Harry out of the blue. “Um…no,”
Harry said. “Why? And where do you come up with things
just…strange things out of nowhere?” “I
was remembering that the Leaving Ball is at the end of this month,”
Draco said. “Three weeks and we’re out of here.” “You
are. I’m not,” Harry said. “I’ll be at
Hogwarts until I croak over of old age. I’ll never get out
there. Albus wants me to teach DADA next year and I just won’t
do it. I need a break.” “You’ll
do it,” Hermione said. “I know you will.” “No,
I won’t,” Harry said definitely. “I’m not
doing it. No way. I need a vacation. I turn eighteen in July and then
I’m a memory at Hogwarts for a long time. I guarantee it.” “Where
are we going then?” Draco asked with a grin spreading the grin
to Harry. “Wherever
you want to go,” Harry said. “Pick a place and we’re
there. I’d like to go by Surrey first though. Just to check up
on Dudley, aunt Petunia and uncle Vernon. I sometimes wonder what
they’re doing. Dudley is a week younger than you, Draco, and I
haven’t seen them in three years. I wonder if Vernon is alive.
He wasn’t in the best of health anyway.” “Surely
you’d know if something happened to them,” Hermione said. “Albus
would know,” Harry said. “He’d tell me.” “Oh
that reminds me,” Ron said. “Bill and Diana are getting
married the first week in June. You’ll be getting an invitation
along with Albus, Harry.” “We’ll
be there,” Harry said. “Albus will come. Is Draco
invited?” “Sure,”
Ron said. “If you bring him.” “Oh
I can see that,” Draco said. “Harry Potter bringing a
Death Eater Malfoy to a Weasley function? Oh holy lord. Are you
insane?” Draco asked Ron. “You
don’t know my mother, Draco,” Ron said. “She
wouldn’t say anything to you at all. I’m not so sure
about the other guests, but mum would welcome you if you were with
Harry. I guarantee that.” “She’d
think Harry had a few screws loose,” Hermione said. “But
Molly is so sweet. Arthur on the other hand, he’d…he may
have a comment or two.” “I
can hear it now,” Harry said. “What on earth are you
thinking, Harry? He’s a DE and Lucius’ son. Have you lost
your mind?” Harry imitated Arthur quite well. “I
don’t think I could show up there, Harry,” Draco said
shaking his head. “Nonsense,”
Ron said. “Sure you can. I’d love to see you there.” “You
want your family to round on me like a pack of rabid red-headed
vermin,” Draco said. “Draco,
you will be with me and I’m proud to show you off,” Harry
said. “Nobody would dare say anything out of the way to you in
my company. They will tease you for being with me more like it. I’ll
take the brunt end of that deal with the Weasley clan.” “You’ll
be drawn and quartered if you bring Draco, Harry,” Ron laughed
hard. “Oh hell. Can you imagine Fred and George’s
reactions when you bring Malfoy? Oh shit that will be priceless.” “I’m
not going,” Draco shook his head. “No way. What a
nightmare being with all those Weasleys in one place. The sheer
madness of it.” “You’ll
be there,” Hermione said confidently. “No,
I won’t,” Draco countered. “Sure
you will,” Ron said equally as confident. “Is
there an echo here? I said I’m not coming,” Draco said.
Harry never spoke a word and each looked to him. “No.”
Draco said to Harry who shrugged nonchalantly. “I mean it,
Harry. I’m not going.” Harry nodded a bit. “You
stupid fucker!” “I
never said a word,” Harry said with a grin. “You
know if you ask me I’ll go,” Draco spat harshly. “I
hate you, Potty.” “I
hate you, too, ferret,” Harry said kindly squeezing Draco
closer to him Harry looked away grinning into the night looking
forward to taking Draco to the wedding soon. The carriage ride was
slow and restful to them and the sky was beginning to lighten. Each
exited the carriage and Ron helped a sleepy Hermione up the steps.
“Go back to Aberforth.” Harry told the thestral who began
to trot away. Harry took Draco’s hand and they walked up the
stairs and into the corridor where Ron and Hermione waited. They were
all exhausted. “Change
our clothing back,” Hermione said. “Although I like this
outfit.” “Keep
it if you want it,” Harry said. “Here.” Harry gave
a permanent charm on her outfit. “Thanks,”
Hermione smiled. “I’ll remember this outfit as the one I
wore out after we…um…did…things.” “Ron,
you want that?” Harry said of the outfit. “Yeah.
Why not?” Ron said. Harry gave the permanent charm onto his
clothing. “Oh damn. I just got rid of my best boxers when you
made this permanent. Oh well.” “You
have to be in the infirmary at ten,” Hermione reminded. Harry
and Draco nodded sadly dreading the day already.
“I’m
sure we’ll stay awake since it’s just after six now,”
Draco said. “That way we’ll sleep later when…when…we’re
there.” “You
can do this,” Ron said to each of them. “You’re
both very strong. And stubborn enough not to let the other best you.”
Harry and Draco looked to each other and then to Ron. Hermione
grinned at Ron’s ploy of competitiveness in the other two. “I
taught him well,” Hermione said slipping her arm around Ron.
Harry and Draco laughed softly. “I’m
dumb but not stupid,” Ron said wisely to the other pair. “You
want to go to the Tower or…to the Dining Hall to eat?” “I’ll
have Albus give you slips to miss classes today,” Harry said.
“He’s probably already done it since you were with me
last night. He knew I needed a break after almost going to prison and
all.” Harry shook his head at the madness. “We
could stay with you and Draco until it was time to go see Poppy,”
Hermione said. “No,
you go ahead. I can see you’re tired,” Draco said. “And
Ron is evidently hungry.” Draco said of Ron’s rolling
stomach. “He’s
always hungry,” Hermione said. “Always.” “I’m
hungry, too,” Harry said. “Just a bit, but…there
is no way in hell I’m eating today.” “Oh
god,” Draco said feeling nauseous at the mention of food. “You
two go on. We’ll be in the den. The password is cursed heart,”
Harry said. “We’ll be there until around ten.”
Hermione hugged Draco and then Harry tightly. “Good
luck today,” Hermione said in her kind way. “I’m
very proud of each of you. I know this has to be very difficult.” “Good
luck, man,” Ron shook Draco’s hand and then hugged Harry
hard. “Don’t freak out and blow up the place, asshole.” “I’ll
do my best,” Harry said sadly. “Well,
your best is good enough for me any day,” Ron said. “We’ll
see you in three days then.” Harry and Draco nodded before Ron
and Hermione took hands and walked away down the corridor until they
turned the corner and were gone. “I’m
hating this today, Harry,” Draco said. “I…I dread
it already.” “I
know you do,” Harry took Draco’s hand leading him to the
den where they entered and stood for a moment looking at the table
with the blueprints laid out on it. Harry ignored it and embraced
Draco to comfort him. “We can do this.” “I
know we can,” Draco nodded into the softness of Harry’s
neck. “We can do anything together. We’ll be fine.”
Draco placed a tiny kiss on the pulse point of Harry’s neck and
Harry gave one tiny sound of pleasure, which drove Draco mad with
desire. “I want to make love to you.” Draco whispered
into Harry’s ear. “We
can’t,” Harry whispered in return. “I know that if
we do I’ll fall asleep and…I can’t do that.” “I
want you,” Draco kissed over Harry’s neck making him tip
his head back slightly. “You’re mine and I want to love
on you. I won’t have you for three days, Harry. I need you now
to keep me from losing my mind while I’m away from you.” “I’ll
be with you in the room,” Harry said. Draco licked slowly up to
Harry’s ear. That was one of Harry’s weaknesses. “Draco,
please.” Draco licked back down and gave a bite onto the skin
of Harry’s neck making him gasp slightly. “Draco…” “Say
it,” Draco said never relenting on this seduction. “Say
it, Harry.” “No,”
Harry whispered slightly closing his eyes at the feelings of his
lover’s touches. Draco slid his hands over Harry’s chest
allowing one to slip further down to cup his crotch, which was
already hard. “No?”
Draco asked with a grin kissing and rubbing on Harry until he could
take no more. “Yes.
I surrender to you,” Harry said. “I can’t take
this.” The pair slid out of clothing in a flash and onto the
bed where they entangled feeling the sweetness of skin on skin
contact. “Oh god you feel so damn good.” Harry hauled
Draco over onto him effortlessly and into a deep kiss of hunger.
Fingers were used and pleasure was given to the one Draco loved. With
every touch Draco gave his complete devotion. The dragon gave a slow
and steady rhythm into his lover’s body during their passionate
kisses. Their tender lovemaking was overwhelming erotic bliss.
Draco’s mind was carnally overtaken when Harry would gasp with
pleasure at each thrust ever deeper into his body. The need to have
Harry so completely had never been stronger and Draco began to stroke
Harry’s cock in time with each plunge into him. “I
want to own you,” Draco admitted through gritted teeth during
his ministrations. “To take you and break you into a million
pieces with my bare hands.” “Yes…”
Harry breathed almost incoherent from the extreme pleasure his body
was receiving. “I
want to mark you and make you mine so fully that you breathe only for
me,” Draco said with his seductive voice. “Y...Yes…”
Harry could hardly take any more of this seduction of his mind as
well as his body. Draco removed his hand from Harry’s cock and
pushed Harry’s legs up so that he could go deeper. “Oh
god yes…” “Stroke
your cock for me,” Draco commanded and Harry obeyed. The
control over his lover was almost more than Draco could take. “Come
for me…” Harry whimpered at having Draco’s thrusts
and his cock being fisted by his own hand. “Tell me you want
me. Tell me you will want for only me.” “I…I
will never want another,” Harry barely said trying to make his
body give what he needed. “I want you and only you, Draco. Oh
god…you are everything to me. Yes….” Harry
continued stroking himself as he began to pant hard with the upcoming
release. Draco knew Harry was ready and he slammed himself into
Harry’s tight body with a growl before placing his thumb on the
sensitive spot directly beneath Harry’s scrotum. Right before
the stream of liquid came, Draco pushed the magical spell up from
that point with Harry’s orgasm. “Draco!
Yes!” Harry screamed as he came hard and trembled. Draco gave
another burst of magic that sent another small jet of fluid from
Harry’s body rewarded with another throaty yelp of surrender.
Draco kept up the motions of his hips for a few more moments and with
one full slam forward of his cock in Harry’s ass as he spurted
his own seed deep into the recess of his lover, Draco sent a full
magical spell from his thumb up through Harry’s pulsing cock
once again. Harry’s head shot back into the pillows with a
gurgling scream and a fierce jerk of his body, which shot forth a
stream of semen all the way up over Harry’s hard sculptured
bronze chest. “Yeah,
baby,” Draco said throatily. “Oh god yes that was good.” “Dr…Draco
you…you almost killed me,” Harry breathed hard and
unsteadily trying to form words as his body trembled from the
overwhelming sensations. “You
love it,” Draco growled. “Now how about three more?”
Harry laughed hard and pulled Draco down atop him.
“Bastard,”
Harry smiled as he wrapped his legs around Draco to hold him. “I
could fucking eat you alive.” Draco was smiling. “I
am the dragon,” Draco said in that growling sexy voice. “I
will claw and burn you with flames from the depths of me. And then
I’ll ravish your burned and mangled flesh to suit my own
twisted whims because I own you.” “A
dragon whose fire is so intense is a danger,” Harry teased.
“And danger brings about that sheer rush of adrenaline to the
one seeking to tame it. Such a rush can’t be quelled until that
task is complete.” “This
dragon will never be tamed,” Draco challenged. “Then
so be it,” Harry said. “But even though the dragon is
wild, he can still be owned by one. And I am that one. The dragon
belongs to me and only me. And if required I will put my dragon on a
leash and lead him about to parade his fierceness to the awe of the
masses. And the pits of hell awaits anyone who tries to take my
dragon from me.” “Is
that so?” Draco asked with a smirk. “That
is most definitely so,” Harry said firmly releasing Draco from
his leg hold. Draco withdrew himself from the heat of Harry’s
body and gave them each a cleansing spell. “Draco, I’m
exhausted. Don’t let me fall asleep.” “I’m
tired, too,” Draco said. “It’s twenty minutes after
seven. We need to stay awake. Let’s go take a bath.” “Let’s
rest for a few minutes,” Harry said. “Or we could get
high and then take a bath.” “High
and bath,” Draco said simply making himself sit up and move.
Every muscle was tired from the day. The pair sat on the chairs at
the table. Harry summoned all the supplies and soon each injected
their drug but only enough to make a high so that they could still
function. The pair ran a hot bath with soothing white foamy bubbles
and when a house elf arrived it was told what to brink for them to
wear after bathing. The house elf disappeared with a low bow. The
lovers lay back on opposite sides of the tub and relaxed for a long
time until the water was almost lukewarm and each was feeling the
strain to try and stay awake. “Draco,
I’m falling asleep,” Harry slurred. “Do something.” “I
can’t,” Draco said with his eyes closed. “I am,
too. We need to get up or do something.” “Let’s
get out of here,” Harry said. “Then we can dress and…go
outside for a while on the steps and stay awake.” “I
can’t fucking move,” Draco said. “Harry, I can’t
stay awake.” “Yes,
you can,” Harry said sitting up and standing from the tub to
towel off. Draco looked asleep. “Come on. You can do this. We
need to stay awake.” Draco groaned and stood to towel off. The
pair dressed slowly into the comfortable casual clothing they’d
been brought by the house elf. It was almost half past eight when the
two, hand in hand walked slowly down the hallway and out the side
door of what they called Harry’s entrance. It was a rarely used
door from the side of the school near the dean. The morning air was
surprisingly cool and Harry magicked them a comfy quilt to half sit
on. Harry sat and leaned back against the cool stones of the wall
taking Draco in his arms when his pale skinned lover sat in the vee
of his outstretched legs. Draco laid his head on Harry’s
shoulder and each comforted the other from the knowledge of what was
to come on this day. Harry pulled up the quilt around them when Draco
shivered a bit from the chill. “Remember
to use the meditation today,” Harry said. “I’ll be
there to help you if you need me.” “I
think you’ll be in worse pain than I will,” Draco said.
“And that makes me feel like shit that you can’t have
anything for pain.” “That’s
the way it is,” Harry said. “With great power there is a
price. No spells level ten or below have any effect on me anymore and
nothing helps with the withdrawals on me anyway. It’s my own
stupid fault for getting mixed up on dope anyway. My punishment and
I’ll take it like I deserve.” “That’s
the way I see it, too,” Draco said. “Pay
the price to dance with the devil,” Harry said of using the
drugs. Harry tightened his hold around Draco and kissed his forehead.
“We’ll be alright. It may take me a bit longer than you
to fully detox because potions don’t work on me as well as
others either, but I think I’ll be okay Wednesday. And…I
need to ask you a favor.” “Anything,”
Draco said. “What is it?” “The
Ministry,” Harry said. Draco leaned up to look at Harry
closely. “They may try to come in the next three days for me.
If they do, Albus will try to hide my whereabouts to them and if they
find me in my condition, they’ll be able to take me if I
can’t…if I’m in no condition to fight them off.” “Do
you think they’ll come? You really think that?” Draco
asked. “It’s
very possible,” Harry said. “If they show up and you know
it, tell Poppy to send a note to Ron to come to me. That’s it.
He’ll know what to do.” “What
will he do?” Draco asked. “He’ll
bring my invisibility cloak so that I can escape the wing unnoticed,”
Harry said. “Harry
you can’t leave the wing with the condition you’ll be in.
You won’t even be able to walk from the shakes and sickness,”
Draco said. “I’m
stronger than you think, Draco,” Harry said with a tiny grin.
“I can do almost anything under pressure. That’s my
thing. The worse shit gets, the more I’m pushed to do
something. I’m not a hundred percent sure the Ministry will
show up, but…if they do, just tell Poppy to send a note to Ron
to come to me. He’ll know instantly.” “You’ve
done this before?” Draco asked. Harry shrugged. “I
have a thing with Ron. I tend to get into situations and Ron knows to
bring my cloak,” Harry said with a grin. “Where
will you go? The den?” Draco asked. “No.
There’s another very tiny hidden room near the infirmary,”
Harry said. “I’ll go there. It’s behind the
painting of Dardley the Hematite and the password is ‘forego
victory,’ I’ll go there until things are clear if I have
to. Well, or there is one other place I may go that’s in the
forest.” “Harry,
how do you know all these places and passwords? When you were asked
how you know things all the time you just say ‘I know stuff’
or something equally as vague,” Draco said. “Does Albus
tell you these things?” “No,”
Harry gave a tiny chuckle. “But he knows what I know.” “Then
how? How do you know what you know?” Draco asked. “I…I
never asked you but…you rarely volunteer any information.” “There
are things that I just know,” Harry said. “And the reason
is because I possess another one of those stupidly rare and unheard
of gifts that nobody knows about.” “And
that gift would be what exactly?” Draco asked laying his head
back on Harry’s shoulder in his embrace for comfort. “There
is magic all over, Draco. Everywhere,” Harry said. “There
is a constant flow that penetrates all things. Magic has a feel in
the air and a tiny buzz when it touches skin. The magical flow is
very strong, but most wizards can’t feel or see it like I can.
Since magic connects and touches everything, all of its parts are
linked. I can tap into that magic and become a part of its flow. The
magic contains all things. There is a fount of knowledge there as
well as great power from which I can draw if I need it. That flow of
magic is how I can move so quickly when fragmented. I become a part
of that magic and use it to transport myself to where I need to go or
be. When I know things it’s because the knowledge is already
there, I just retrieve it from the flow.” “How
interesting,” Draco said. “It
is interesting,” Harry said. “And it has become almost
natural for me to remain connected to that flow all the time now. I
had a very hard time with it at first because…well, the
information and things that the magical flow contains is in a form
that I had to learn to recognize and interpret before I could use it.
At first it would overwhelm me with too much at once before I learned
to manage it.” “I
just know that Albus is connected to that flow, too,” Draco
said. “He
is,” Harry said. “That’s
why he just knows things. It’s like he knows everything before
anyone speaks or moves,” Draco said. “That’s
because he does,” Harry said. “I’ve learned to take
myself completely from the flow if I need to so that Albus or anyone
can’t locate me at all except in the immediate vicinity of my
magical signature. That’s for protection measures in case I
ever need it.” “You
have to be so protected all the time,” Draco said. “That
would drive me nuts.” “There
are leagues of wizards hunting me down at every second, Draco,”
Harry said. “Every moment I live there are plans to capture,
torture and kill me. I just have to keep watch for things keep myself
alive. That’s why I’m trained.” “That’s
a terrible life,” Draco said with a laugh. “It’s
just a life to me. I’m used to it,” Harry said. “But
with me, I not only have to defend myself, but everyone else in the
process. ‘With great power comes great responsibility’
are Albus’ favorite words to me. He says them almost daily and
he’s right. There is a reason I was given these funky things I
can do, and the right thing to do with them is use them for good to
protect those who need it. Although I do use some of my abilities for
other purposes.” “Thief,”
Draco said. “If Voldemort knew you were such a bad ass he’d
try harder to recruit you.” Harry gave a short laugh and
repositioned his bottom on the quilt. “This
cold floor feels good on my sore ass,” Harry grinned and Draco
laughed. “I
could give you a healing spell,” Draco said. “No
way,” Harry said. “I want to keep it. Reminds me you were
there not long ago. That keeps me in a constant state of arousal.
I’ll be a maniac in three days from wanting you the entire
time. We’ll be in the same room with two twin beds, but at
night we’ll curl up together if we can stand it.” “The
last time I went through withdrawal was not good,” Draco said.
“I yell, scream, and curse everything in sight because of
that…that awful aching inside that is just like a gnawing to
hurt something.” “I
get that, too,” Harry said. “I just want to break
something or rip it apart. Maybe they should separate us. We might
kill each other.” “No,
I want you there,” Draco held onto Harry’s arms to hold
him in place. “But Harry, let’s decide right now that we
know we’ll both be hurting and lashing out. So we’ll
call a void on the next three days. Anything you and I say to each
other can’t be held against us. If we yell and say hurtful
things we know that we won’t mean it. Is that okay?” “Fine.
Good idea,” Harry said. “You and I tend to be a bit
volatile with each other anyway. And when placed under the strain of
withdrawal, sickness and pain, we might say things we don’t
mean. So yes. I agree with you. We’ll call a void until we end
it on Wednesday. Good thinking, partner.” “Partner?”
Draco asked with a grin. “What kind of partner am I? I’m
not being your little hero helper.” “I
was thinking more like…love partner,” Harry said. “The
other half of a pair partner.” “I
see,” Draco said. “Like a…a marriage partner
without the marriage.” Harry laughed. “Something
like that, yeah,” Harry said. “We’re a couple.” “A
couple of idiots,” Draco insulted them. “Harry, will we
be different together if we don’t have that connection with the
dope?” “What
do you think?” Harry asked. “Do you think we will? I have
to admit that I did consider it, but…I can’t see
anything that would make me think that. I will want to be with you
anyway. You tell me what you think.” “I
agree with you,” Draco said. “I want to be with you
regardless of…well, anything. Fuck Voldemort. Fuck the dope.
Fuck the DEs and every member of Slytherin house that dares to even
think it. I don’t care. I know what I want and piss on anybody
that gets in my damn way. That’s my opinion.” “And
hasn’t it always been?” Harry gave a short laugh. “I
don’t think others realize just how alike you and I are and why
we would get along so well. That’s why they don’t
understand. I’m drawn to you because you’re stronger than
anyone I know. Besides being the sexiest thing to ever breathe, I’m
attracted to you because you’re strong. That sounds fucked up,
but it’s true. I don’t like being around others that bend
to me so easily. And I take their weaknesses and use them with it. I
shouldn’t do that, but I do it. Like with Kendra. She’s
addicted to the dope and I used her because of it.” “I
do that, too,” Draco said. “I hold a position of
authority in Slytherin house and I’m trained in the dark arts
at a high level. People fear and respect that. And I know that others
just bend to my will and I use that to my advantage like a good
Slytherin should. There’s hardly anything I’m denied
because of it. It’s about control.” “Control
is everything,” Harry said. “Not just with wizards.
Control is power and power is control. That’s why the Ministry
wants me. Watch this.” Harry stretched out his hand toward the
puffy cumulus clouds in the sky. Harry looked as if he were writing
in the air in some cursive script. Upon the cloud the swirling
letters of DM were formed. “How
cool,” Draco said. “You control the sky.” “I’ve
written your name on the heavens,” Harry said. “I
almost fear what you can’t do,” Draco said quietly. “I
can do much,” Harry said. “But I’ve given up much
of my life to be able to simply live and learn to use these gifts
over the years. Every moment of my life has been in training of some
kind. I lost a childhood by only trying to survive and I’ll
never have that back.” “I’m
sorry,” Draco rubbed Harry’s arm. “No,
don’t be sorry,” Harry said. “That sounded like a
sob story, didn’t it? I didn’t mean for it to sound like
that. I don’t want pity of any kind because I don’t need
it. I do have abilities that others don’t. I try to hide them
as best I can and remain seemingly normal, but…that doesn’t
seem to be working.” Harry laughed a bit. “Show
me something else you can do,” Draco said. “Entertain me,
my pet.” For the next hour Harry showed and explained to Draco
how to use wandless magic a bit in depth. Harry was lightly
demonstrating how to cast a set of sweeping spells wandlessly when it
was time for them to go to the hospital wing. “Well, here we
go. I’m nervous, Harry.” “I
know you are,” Harry said. “That’s natural. I’m
a bit apprehensive, too. It’s because we know what’s
coming. But that’s a good thing. We know there is bad to come,
so we brace ourselves and dive right into it and fight.” “You
do that,” Draco said. “I’m not the diving and
fighting type. I tend to use my head and stay away from anything that
would be painful to me.” “That
would be a more intelligent outlook,” Harry said. “But I
do tend to have that annoying Gryffindor crap that pushes me to take
the pain for the better good. Quite irritating.” The pair stood
and took a long embrace from the other with a long and deep kiss of
comfort, love and support before taking hands and forging down the
hallways. “I’m
holding your hand in the hallway,” Draco stated. “And if
one person so much as looks in my direction, I’m taking their
head off.” “Okay,”
Harry agreed. “I’ll assist you with that if you need me.” “Fine.
Just so we’re clear on that,” Draco teased. “I
can show you how to street fight and break bones if you want,”
Harry said. “Yeah.
That would be great,” Draco said. “I need to know that. I
really enjoyed that crunchy sound when you laid some kick ass on that
asshole in London. That fucking ruled. I was so proud of you.” “Thanks,”
Harry said. “We’ll go out fighting one night in London to
practice. I used to do that all the time after I’d learned some
new moves. I’d just find some stupid fuckers in an alley and
beat the living hell out of them just because I could. I’d walk
away and leave them lying there in a pool of blood and flesh. Total
power trip.” The pair laughed at the thought of it. “Bad
ass,” Draco said. Harry nodded. “It’s
in your walk,” Harry said. “You have it. That bad ass
walk that says ‘don’t fuck with me or I’ll beat you
so bad you can’t breathe.’ You walk that way. Of course
with you I’m staring at your ass when you walk, but you still
walk like that.” “You
walk with a gait of your own,” Draco said. “Only you have
it. Your arms tip a bit back like you’re just ready for
somebody to make a move. Always on alert sort of thing. Very sexy.
And shut up because I’m getting turned on.” “I
didn’t say anything,” Harry said. “You were the one
talking.” “Go
to hell,” Draco laughed. “You
turned yourself on,” Harry said. “Oh hell. Now I’m
getting turned on. Shut up, Draco or we’ll be fucking like two
dogs in heat in the infirmary. Poppy might not like that.” “We
could have sex in the wing,” Draco said. “At night if
we’re feeling okay.” “We’ll
see how we feel and decide then,” Harry said. “I’d
love sex with you anywhere. I can’t get enough of you.”
The pair reached the hospital wing doors with five minutes to spare,
so they entered anyway. “Poppy! We’re here!” Harry
yelled to an empty wing. Poppy peeped her head around the corner at
the far end and nodded as they walked hand in hand toward her. “Potter,
Malfoy,” Poppy greeted. “Oh,
please, Poppy. Harry and Draco,” Harry corrected. “We’ve
been here for seven damn years and you’ve seen us both naked on
countless occasions. I think we know each other. Now if you wanted to
know us better and let us see you naked we wouldn’t mind that
either.” Harry teased with a grin. Poppy gave a tiny light
girly laugh of disdain. “You’re
quite right. I do know you both, but I’m not promiscuous,”
Poppy said. “Don’t
knock it until you try it,” Draco wiggled his eyebrows. “That’s
part of the problem in this school,” Poppy said. “All you
over hormonal teenagers having sex everywhere. This place is like
some glorified orgy.” Poppy covered her mouth quickly. “Harry,
you are such a bad influence.” Poppy scolded with a scowl. “Yeah,
I know,” Harry said. “You should just slip me some poison
and take me out while I’m in here. Would you do that to me,
Poppy, honey?” “No.
I’d love to do that to you because you get on my nerves, but
Albus would have a fit and I happen to like my job,” Poppy
teased. “So you’re stuck with living as much as you try
to kill yourself all the time.” Poppy grinned evilly to Harry. “You’re
getting better at arguing with me,” Harry said. “That’s
scary. And a turn on actually. You know how I like it.” Harry
winked at her. Poppy just shook her head at him with a slight blush
and walked to the potions cabinet while Draco laughed silently with
Harry’s embarrassing her. Harry leaned over to Draco. “It’s
all about control.” “And
you’ve got her controlled quite well,” Draco whispered
back. Harry nodded. “Poppy
is a good woman,” Harry said reaching into his sweat pants
pocket he pulled a very tiny box from it and resized it quickly
before taking it and putting it on her desk. “Here’s what
you wanted, Poppy, dear. Just for you. The finest Merlot in London to
celebrate your little tryst.” “Harry,”
Poppy scolded. “That’s none of your business and I’d
thank you kindly to watch your mouth.” “Draco
and I are the only ones here,” Harry said. “And Draco
says nothing about nothing. Besides we both know that you and
Lieutenant Taylor Hambry have had your relationship for over a year.
Nobody else knows but Draco, Albus and me. And we’re happy for
you. It’s a good thing.” Harry slid up to sit on Poppy’s
desk as she was working with all the potions she’d be giving
the pair soon. Draco sat in Poppy’s own chair as she worked at
the table near the supply cabinet. “I
wasn’t aware that Draco knew of that,” Poppy said. Draco
looked at Harry in confusion. “Yes,
he knows,” Harry said cluing Draco in. “Draco is a very
brilliant investigator.” “Then
you make a fine pair,” Poppy said. “And I’ll take
it to mean that Draco will not divulge any information passed between
these walls.” “Poppy,
you insult me,” Draco said. “I would never say a word to
anyone unless it would serve to further me in some way and I can’t
for the life of me imagine that anything you would be involved in
would bring me any glory. So your secret is quite safe.” Harry
laughed softly. Poppy gave Draco a hard look to which Draco gave his
trademark crooked smirk. “I’ll never tell. You have my
word as a Death Eater.” “That’s
comforting,” Poppy said sarcastically. “That’s
a vow of immense proportions, Poppy,” Harry said. “DEs
are sworn to secrecy and their vows are ones of a lifetime of
dedication.” “But
Mister Malfoy has declined to serve his vow, isn’t that right?”
Poppy asked. “The
oaths I took were necessary,” Draco said. “If taking some
little mark would keep me alive, then so be it. I’m not a
Gryffindor. I’m a Slytherin. I use any means to achieve my
ends. That’s the way of life.” “And
death,” Poppy said. “But I can see your point. Now. I
have the potions ready for each of you. There are three of them you
will need initially and then every four hours I’ll be giving
you two more. These are cleansing potions for your blood. The
intricites in these potions are highly concentrated to dissolve and
dissipate anything that isn’t supposed to be there. I must ask
each of you to remove any spells or charms you have on you at the
moment. Harry, you’ll need to remove everything.” “Everything?”
Harry asked in disbelief. “I have nine spells on me all the
time. And you know I’m sworn to leave at least two.” “Yes,
the foliosis for your hair and the nonhemogobulal for your blood.
You’ll need to remove those as well. Albus knows that I’m
asking you to remove them. He added wards to the wing for additional
security while you’re here,” Poppy said. “You
are just too much,” Draco said. “You high security risk.” “You
have no idea,” Poppy said. Every time Harry walks in it’s
a nightmare in here.” Harry laughed and walked away from them
all. “I’m
removing the spells now,” Harry said. Poppy turned to watch.
Harry took a deep breath and moved his hand in a circular motion over
his head. Nine pops of light came from him as the spells were broken.
“Okay. I’m totally vulnerable now so I’m your
responsibility. If I’m killed you just destroyed the world,
Poppy. Isn’t that nice?” Harry teased with a grin. “How
many times have I told you not to say that?” Poppy asked in a
huffed scowl. Draco laughed softly. “Come with me.” She
led the two into the back room with twin beds and put the tray with
their potions on the small table between their beds. The room had a
small fireplace with burning embers but the room was still a bit
chilled. “You have the option of heating or cooling this room
as you need throughout the process. You’ll both find that
you’ll be cold and then hot intermittently and hopefully at the
same times. In the small cabinet to your right, you’ll find
pajamas if you need them. I know that Harry won’t wear a shirt
anyway because he never does, but you may do as you wish, Draco. This
room will be sealed for four hours after I give you these potions.
After that time I’ll come to take your vitals, make adjustments
and bring you a meal if you request it. You’ll be given more
potions along with any healing spells if you need them for pain or
discomfort. Harry, you know that Albus will come after approximately
ten hours to check on you.” “I
know that. Thank you,” Harry said. “If
you feel that you need him at any time with your pain, let me know
and I’ll bring him straightaway,” Poppy said. “He
can siphon a bit from you, but…keep in mind his age and
health.” “Yes,
I know that as well,” Harry said. “I think I’ll be
okay on my own, but…Albus wants to help me of his own accord
so I’ll humor him.” “As
you always do,” Poppy said. “Don’t let him take
away too much from you if you can. I hate to burden you with more
pain, but…” “I
know that, Poppy. I know. He’s my father, you know,”
Harry grinned. “I
don’t know what spell he was under by taking you, the poor
soul,” Poppy teased. Harry and Draco grinned at her attempt at
humor. “If you’re both ready, I’ll need to see that
you each take your potions and then…you’re free to
relax. And given the relationship between you, I would request that
you keep to yourselves and try to refrain from any activity that
might be considered inappropriate.” “You
mean don’t have one of those glorified orgies you mentioned
earlier?” Draco asked with a wink. Poppy turned away in a bit
of embarrassment. “Yes,
that would be correct,” Poppy said. “I’m
not promising anything,” Harry said. “The two of us
locked in here half naked with two beds. Rampant hormones and Draco’s
sexy ass. I can’t fight that off for long.” “Potter,
you will resist Mister Malfoy. Is that clear?” Poppy asked. “Oh
yes it’s quite clear,” Harry said. “But I doubt my
ability to do it. Look at Draco. He’s an incredible lover.” “Harry,
please,” Poppy said. “Just take the potions.” Each
took the first vial and with a deep breath each gulped down the three
bitter liquids. “Just try to relax. I hope you tried to stay
awake recently so that you can get some rest today.” “We
did. We’ve been awake for two days and nights almost,”
Draco said.
“Very
good,” Poppy said nodding. “That will help you both.
Draco, I can give you some sleeping draught or healing spells if you
need them.” Draco nodded. “Poppy,
if you see Ron coming here, allow him in,” Harry said. “He
probably won’t, but if he shows up I’ll need you to allow
him access to me. There may be some circumstances that I need to deal
with at that time.” “Certainly,”
Poppy said. “But there will be no other visitors besides Albus
and your heads of houses if they request it.” Each nodded to
that. “Very well. I’ll leave you both. There is the
private bathroom that includes a shower if you feel the need. There
are many selections of reading material in the bookcase, and if you
need a house elf for a drink or anything to eat ring the bell on this
table and one will appear. With that, try to rest and I’ll
return in approximately four hours. Good luck.” “Thanks,
Poppy,” Harry said sincerely. She nodded to each of their
dedication to this undertaking before she left and set up a ward of
protection outside the door. “Well,
here we go,” Draco said. “I already have an upset stomach
from those potions.” “So
do I,” Harry said. “I’m not going to throw up yet.
That won’t happen for another few hours. Want to come lay on
the bed with me? We can sleep for a while.” Each kicked off
shoes and socks. Harry took off his shirt as expected. Harry lay on
his back on the bed. Draco slid in beside him coming into his
embrace. Draco’s cheek lay near Harry’s collarbone and
Draco put his arm over Harry’s chest as they held one another.
“It’ll be okay. We’ll do fine. I’m here for
you if you need anything, my dragon.” “And
I’m here for you,” Draco said sleepily. “I think
I’ll sleep. I can’t hold my eyes open.” “Me
either,” Harry said with a yawn. “I love you, Draco. I’m
glad you’re here with me.” “I
love you, too. And I wouldn’t dream of being anywhere else,”
Draco said. “Sleep.” That was the last word either of
them heard until Poppy was shaking Draco’s shoulder hours
later. “Draco,
wake up,” Poppy said calmly. “It’s time for the
second set of potions.” Draco shook Harry’s shoulder for
a good five minutes before he woke. “No,”
Harry said with closed eyes. “Go away.” “Harry,
wake up,” Draco slurred. “Let’s drink this crap
down and go back to sleep.” Harry groaned and sat up. Poppy
handed each of them the vials which they gulped quickly and resumed
their previous sleeping positions. “I
think it might be best if each of you took a separate bed,”
Poppy said. “Go
away,” Harry said. “We’re fine.” Harry turned
so that he and Draco were entangled on the bed comfortably and were
immediately asleep again. Poppy just shook her head and left them
before sealing the doors again. The sweat rolled off Harry’s
forehead over his temples and into his ear tickling it. Harry’s
eyes fluttered open to find himself covered in sweat and his hand
trembling a bit. He sighed and knew he’d been doing that for a
while already. Draco’s shirt was slightly damp as he still
slept spooned against Harry facing away with Harry’s arm draped
over him. Harry lay as still as he could manage trying to go back to
sleep until he heard the click of the door and Poppy came in again
with a tray of potions. Harry groaned. “I
see you’re awake,” Poppy said. “How do you feel?” “Nothing
a shot wouldn’t cure,” Harry said. “I feel like
shit like I’m supposed to.” “Can
you wake Draco? I’ll give you both your next sets of potions,”
Poppy said. “I’ll be off duty in two hours. Angela will
tend you during the night and bring your potions. I’ll be in my
quarters next door if you need anything she can’t provide you.”
Harry kissed into Draco’s neck waking him. “Wake
up, baby,” Harry said. “Time for that nasty potion shit.” “Go
to hell,” Draco drawled while he refused to wake. “Come
on, my dragon,” Harry said lightly shaking Draco’s
shoulder. “Get
away from me,” Draco said with a grin. “The
sooner we get Poppy out of here the sooner we can shower,”
Harry said. Draco rose up immediately as did Harry. They moved to the
side of the bed and with trembling hands took the two vials and
almost gagged. “I’m killing whoever didn’t make
that taste better. I swear it. Give me a name and they’re
dead.” “Calm
down,” Poppy said putting the empty vials on the tray and
giving each a vitals check. “You’re both doing well so
far. You know that the next twenty four hours will be the worst. Just
try to relax as much as possible. I’ve provided you each with a
container if you need it when you get sick. The container will empty
itself magically and stay clean. I’d like for you each to drink
as much as possible to keep hydrated. These flasks will remain cold.
There is water in one and the other is a drink mixture to keep your
bodies fed with nutrients for energy seeing as though you may not
feel compelled to actually eat anything. I urge you to try and eat
now if you think you can.” “Hell
no,” Harry said. “I’m already nauseous now.” “Me,
too,” Draco said. “But I’d like some water.”
Poppy filled each of them a glass of the cold water which they each
drank a whole glass. “That’s
good,” Poppy said taking the glasses from them. “Draco, I
can give you a spell to help aid with your nausea if you’d like
it.” “No,
I’m fine,” Draco said. “Take
the damn spell,” Harry said. “Give it to him.”
Draco didn’t resist when Poppy flicked her wand and muttered
the spell. Just for comfort she also gave one to Harry, which had no
effect, and he gave her a glare at the absurdity. “There,”
Poppy said. “Do either of you need anything?” “Yeah,
could you get me a beer?” Harry asked with a grin. Poppy gave
the return glare. “We’ll
work on your alcoholism at a later time, Potter,” Poppy said
leaving the flasks and glasses for them but taking the tray with the
vials on it. “I’ll see you both tomorrow if there isn’t
anything else. Angela will be in to bring you another set of potions
in four hours. Good evening to you both.” Poppy left and put up
the sealing ward again. “I
feel like shit,” Draco said running a trembling hand through
his sweaty hair. “Feel
like a shower?” Harry asked. “I’m sweaty and hot.”
Draco nodded his agreement and they stripped down and enjoyed a nice
long shower together touching and feeling the other with their hands
and body. “Harry,
have sex with me,” Draco said turning his back to Harry and
rubbing his ass on Harry’s cock, which immediately responded.
“Just give it to me so we can go back out and relax a bit
afterward.” “A
quick fuck then?” Harry asked with a soft laugh. “Exactly.
Do it,” Draco said. “And…just hurry.” “Anything
you want. I’ll never turn that down from you,” Harry said
as he lifted Draco’s leg onto the side of the tub and began to
use his fingers inside his lover to open his body a bit as the hot
water of the shower continued to drench them both. Harry pulled Draco
back a bit and Draco leaned over more as Harry pushed his hard cock
into the heat and tightness of Draco’s ass. Each moaned a bit
at the sheer pleasure of it as Harry set the pace and finally
plunging into the depth of Draco’s body fully with his
erection. Each thrust was long as Harry pushed and pulled at Draco’s
hips sliding him along the full length of his hard cock to savor the
friction and the water. The fucking was wonderfully soothing to take
their minds off the withdrawal symptoms and allow them some peace and
fulfillment. “Stroke it for me…come with me…”
Harry asked. Draco used his hand to wrap around his own stiffened
member and began to pump it enjoying the sensations. “Oh
yeah…come on and do it hard…fuck me, baby,” Draco
said. Hearing those words fueled Harry’s drives and he latched
onto Draco’s hips hard and began to thrust hard and deep into
Draco’s ass with a growl at each unison. “I love it when
you do that.” “I
could fuck you all day,” Harry said sliding his hand up to
Draco’s shoulder to get a grip there to pull Draco back harder
onto him. “Do
it then. How long can you last?” Draco teased. Harry gave a
short laugh as they fucked. “Longer
than you,” Harry teased back. Draco laughed. “I
doubt that,” Draco said. “Prove it to me then.” “Fine.
I will,” Harry said. “The first one to come has to do the
bidding of the other next shower.” “Fine,”
Draco said. “You just don’t stop fucking me.” “And
you don’t stop stroking yourself and we’ll see how long
we can do this,” Harry said. “But oh my god you feel so
good wrapped around my dick.” They continued and continued as
each tried to enjoy it for so very long. Every so often within the
steady pace, Harry would grip Draco’s shoulder and hip tightly
and shove himself inside hard giving Draco the thrill of it. “Cheater,”
Draco teased with a smile at the harder thrusts. “I think
you’re going to win because I can’t take this much
longer. I about to come, Harry.” “Then
come for me,” Harry said. “I’ll fuck you hard and
fast so you can come.” Draco braced his hand on the shower wall
for support as Harry began to fuck hard and fast sending Draco’s
mind afire with the need. Draco worked his flesh expertly and was
soon panting and gasping as his balls tightened and his cock swelled
with the upcoming orgasm. “Oh
god…yeah…here I come…oh fuck!” Draco
jerked as the hot salty liquid spurted forth into the shower. “Oh
god yes…Harry, do it…oh fuck me yeah…” “Do
you want me to come in you?” Harry asked. “Tell me now…
hurry…” “No,
in the shower…come on my back if you want…” Draco
said. Harry growled hard and fucked hard for several more moments
before drawing out his cock and stroking it hard. “Oh
god…yeah…” Harry bit his lip and groaned as he
shot a hot sticky load of his own come over Draco’s wet back.
With several more strokes to release all that would come, Harry
sighed long. “I feel much better now.” “I
do, too,” Draco said. Harry massaged the come on Draco’s
back all over him. “What
the hell are you doing?” Draco laughed. “I’m
giving you a come massage on your back,” Harry said. “Feel
good?” “Actually
it feels great,” Draco said. “Especially with your semen
splattered all over me. That’s a turn on. You can come all over
me if you want.” “I
need to take a piss,” Harry said. “You don’t mind
do you if I pee in the shower?” “I
don’t care,” Draco said. “You can piss on me if you
want.” “You’re
into water sports?” Harry asked with a smile. “I’ve
never done it or had it done. I just…said that just now,”
Draco laughed. “You make me insane.” “Do
you want me to piss on you for real? That’s fucked up and I
think I’d like it,” Harry said. “Do
it then,” Draco said. “I think I’d like that, too.
Oh god we’re sick.” “We
are,” Harry said. “And I need to piss, so…” “Piss
on my back then,” Draco said. “I
can’t believe I’m doing this, Draco,” Harry said as
he started to take a piss. “That
feels great. It’s warm and…wow,” Draco said. “Oh
god yes…I needed to go so bad,” Harry giggled as he
pissed until it was over. “Okay. That was cool. You rule. You
have to go?” “No,”
Draco said. “Dammit,”
Harry said. “That’s not fair. Try to pee.” Draco
laughed. “I
can’t right now,” Draco said. “I’ll need to
later.” “But
we’re in the shower now,” Harry said. “Try harder.” “Harry,
dammit, I can’t piss right now,” Draco said turning to
him. “Sorry.” “You
bastard,” Harry teased with a smile. “You
just pissed on me and you’re calling me a bastard?” Draco
asked. Harry laughed and hugged his lover under the spray of the hot
water of the shower. They soaped up and washed their hair taking as
much time as they wanted to do each. “I have no hair gel. What
am I going to do? I can’t…I can’t go without it.” “Sure
you can,” Harry said. “But…you
don’t know about my hair, Harry,” Draco said. “It’s…it’s
not good if I don’t have gel.” “So?
It can’t be worse than mine,” Harry said. “It’s
close,” Draco said. “And…if you tell anyone I
swear I’ll kill you.” “Fine.
It’s our little secret,” Harry said. “No big deal.
I was thinking about getting my hair cut in a crew cut.” “Oh
my god don’t you dare,” Draco said. “That would be
awful on you. I…well, I sort of…like it like that.” “You
like this ratty mess?” Harry pointed at his hair. “It’s
awful, Draco. It’s terrible. I can’t do a damn thing with
it. No matter what I do it just looks like this.” “Let
me comb it after we get out,” Draco said. “I’ll fix
it for you.” “It
won’t help. I’m telling you it won’t do a thing,”
Harry said as they left the shower and were toweling off. “Hermione
and Ginny sat me down and tried every single thing on my hair before.
I just sat there for over an hour until they finally gave up and left
me alone. It was fun to watch them get all frustrated. They play with
me like I’m a doll and I let them.” “What
do they do to you?” Draco asked slipping on the pajama bottoms
with no underwear. Harry did the same with his own pajama bottoms. “Before
the Christmas dance last year they each painted my toenails on one
foot so that they could decide what colors they liked,” Harry
grinned. Draco laughed. “I didn’t care. I just sat there
and let them. They also plucked my eyebrows for me and they’re
all the time doing stuff. Several times they’ve tried out
products on me. I had a facial mask and some…some type of
green mud like stuff that caked up on my face. It felt great. They do
that a lot when they can track me down.” “Oh
god that’s hilarious,” Draco said. “But I’ve
had those facial treatments before. My skin is very sensitive to
things like that. And I have very fine blond hair everywhere even on
my face, so…I have to pay close attention to my skin.” “I
pay close attention to your skin, too,” Harry admitted. “You’re
so light and…so damn beautifully perfect.” Harry kissed
Draco’s shoulder from behind and allowed his lips to brush
across the skin in question. “Satiny moonlight.” “What?
Is that the poem thing again?” Draco asked. “No,
that’s what I call your skin in my head,” Harry said.
“When we were in Professor Binn’s History of Magic class
and I was so damn bored, I would look at you and…that’s
what I came to call your skin. Satiny moonlight. Very nice, don’t
you think?” “Yes,
that’s quite good,” Draco said rubbing himself with a bit
of lotion all over. “Most just call me pale or chalky white.” “That’s
an insult to what you are,” Harry said. “You’re
deliciously rich white milk chocolate that melts on my tongue. That’s
another one of the things I came up with for your skin.” “That’s
also a good one,” Draco said. “Yours is honey bronze or
creamy caramel. I wanted to lick the sweat off your back after
Quidditch for years.” “You
did? You could have told me,” Harry said. “I would have
let you.” “After
you’d beat the hell out of me for mentioning it,” Draco
said. “There. All lotioned up. I feel much better after our
showery-sexy-piss thing.” Harry laughed. “You’re
fucked up,” Harry said with a laugh as they entered the bedroom
again. “I could actually eat something.” “Go
ahead,” Draco said. “I could have some broth or something
light like that.” “Me,
too,” Harry said. The house elf was called and soon brought
them chicken broth with crackers. Each had the drink mix from the
flask and broth but denied anything like crackers, which would be
chunky coming back up later. After they’d taken as much broth
as they thought necessary, each lay on the separate beds for a long
while in silence. After about an hour, each was trembling and
sweating a bit more. “I
hate this, Harry,” Draco breathed and tried to relax. “I’m
beginning to be agitated.” “Can
you sleep?” Harry asked with his trembling lip that held beads
of sweat. “No,”
Draco said. “My mind is racing and my heart rate is up like
normal for this crap.” “Mine,
too,” Harry said closing his eyes. “Are you hot? I’m
burning up.” “Yes.
Oh god I’m so hot I could die,” Draco said. “Cast a
cooling spell in here. Can you do that?” “Yeah,”
Harry said as he waved his hand lazily in the air and the room cooled
immediately. “Much better. We’ll be freezing in about an
hour.” “I
know,” Draco said and then blew a stream of air from his lungs
forcefully. After another quarter hour of lying in silence, Draco was
having a fit. “I’m going nuts in here. I’m bored to
death. Talk to me. Tell me…just…anything.” “Like
what?” Harry asked breathing and trying to maintain a relaxed
feeling when all he wanted to do was run and scream. “Tell
me about an adventure or something to keep my mind occupied,”
Draco said licking his lips repeatedly. “Tell me about Ron and
Hermione.” “Ron
and Hermione. Okay. Well, you know I met Ron on the train on the way
in first year,” Harry said. “I was alone in the
compartment and Ron asked to sit with me because everywhere else was
full. No one wanted to sit with me because I think they knew who I
was already.” “They
did,” Draco said. “Everyone knew it was you. I remember
it.” “How
did they know? I was just sitting there,” Harry asked. “You
sort of have a scar that gives you away,” Draco said. “What?
No one else in the whole Wizarding world has a scar?” Harry
asked. “No.
We take them off, stupid,” Draco said. “Honestly, Potter.
Sometimes you’re so dense it amazes even me. Go on.” “Well,
Ron came in and immediately asked to see my scar,” Harry said.
Draco laughed. “And he freaked out at first until we started
talking a bit and he was telling me about his family, Hogwarts,
prefects, Quidditch and the like. Of course, I’d never heard of
any of it and felt like a fool. But I confided in Ron that I knew
nothing about such things so he explained everything I’d need
to know to at least have a semi-intelligent conversation once I got
to school. I had a sack full of galleons and didn’t know
anything about wizard currency at all. Ron had never had a sickle in
his life, so I bought a few of everything off the snack trolley and
he had to tell me what Bertie Bott’s and Chocolate Frogs were.
Those frogs freaked me out.” Draco laughed. “I’d
never seen food alive before and I literally freaked out and mine
jumped out the window.” “That’s
so typical of you,” Draco grinned. “I bet Ron was
thrilled to be able to tell you things.” “He
was. He had so many brothers already that he never got much attention
just on his own,” Harry said. “He latched onto me and I
latched onto him quickly. I knew that I needed a friend because
Hagrid told me I was…I was different with the…all the
fame and the Voldemort crap. And then we met you again before the
sorting. You scared the piss out of me, Draco.” “I
did?” Draco asked. “I wanted you to be my friend so bad
and you embarrassed me in front of our whole class.” “You
acted like a jerk,” Harry said. “You had just insulted my
very first friend I’d ever had and I didn’t know
anything. And you were mean. I didn’t like you at all.”
The pair talked for another hour until Draco had to lean over from
the bed and throw up his broth. The next few hours were a combination
of vomiting, sweating, shakes and cursing everything under the sun,
as the two were sick with withdrawals. Angela came in with a tray of
the potions just when both were lying on separate beds recovering
from their last bouts of nausea. “How
are you both feeling?” Angela asked in her soft voice. She was
a young, shy nurse who’d been at Hogwarts for only two years.
She and Harry had become good friends during her continued stay over
the two summers. Angela had a fascination and a terrible crush on
Harry and both knew it. “Harry, how are you feeling?”
Angela sat on his bedside and put her hand on his forehead gently
mostly to touch him than to check for anything. “Just
don’t kiss me right now,” Harry teased with his sexy
smirk. Angela glanced to Draco quickly before blushing just a bit.
“I’m sick and miserable.” “It
must be terrible,” Angela said captivated by Harry. Draco gave
Harry a look and grinned at Angela’s longing look to the
Gryffindor. “It
is,” Harry said. “Just don’t be stupid like me and
you won’t have to go through it.” “You’re
not stupid,” Angela said with a warm smile. “Things
happen. But you’ll be fine. I’ll take care of you while
you’re here.” “And
me?” Draco asked. Angela looked as if she’d never noticed
he was there. Harry couldn’t help a grin. “Oh,
of course Malfoy,” Angela said standing to look over Draco for
a moment. “How do you feel?” “Like
hell,” Draco spat. “How do you think I feel?” “Sorry
to hear that,” Angela said with just the hint of spite in her
voice. “Here are your potions.” Angela sat two vials on
the table near Draco and then brought two to Harry and sat on his
bed. “Harry, can you sit up and take these?” “I
may be able to,” Harry said playing on her affections. “Maybe
you need to help me up.” Draco snorted as he sat up on his own.
Angela assisted a very able Harry to sit up. “Here,
I’ll open it for you,” Angela opened the vial and Harry
gave a quick grin to Draco who rolled his eyes at Harry’s
coddling from the nurse. “Here you are, Harry. Drink up. I know
it must taste awful.” Harry took the vials and drank each
quickly. “I can bring you something to eat if you want.”
Harry took her hand and gave her that sexy smile. “Thank
you, Angela,” Harry said softly. “But I’ll just
have to suffer without. I’m cursed with pain. It’s my
life.” It was all that Draco could do to keep from laughing at
Harry’s acting job. Angela was falling for every single word as
Harry gave that poor lost soul look to her. “Nothing but sorrow
for me always.” “Oh
Harry,” Angela said almost in tears. “I’m so sorry.
Can I get you anything at all to help? Another pillow or…just
anything?” “You’re
so kind,” Harry said. “But no. I have to remain locked in
this tiny room for days with Malfoy.” “I
know,” Angela gave Draco a look to which Draco sneered
hatefully. “That has to be awful for you. But you can do
anything, Harry. I know you can.” Angela was absolutely lost to
Harry’s charms. “I
can do nothing,” Harry said. “I’m weak and sick.
But I’m here and I have you to take care of me. That’s
all I need.” Harry gave that sweet smile and Angela almost
melted into the floor from being captivated. “I…I
need to go I suppose,” Angela said. “I could come read to
you if you want.” “No.
I don’t want you to see me suffer like this,” Harry said
in his mock sorrow. “You should go. I can’t bear to hurt
you by making you see me in pain. Just go. For my sake.” “Alright,”
Angela whispered. “But I’m just right outside and…and
if there’s anything I can do for you I will. Anything at all.” “I
know why your name is Angela,” Harry said. “It’s
because you’re an angel of mercy.” That was almost too
much for Angela to take and her breath caught in her throat and she
wanted to speak. Draco snorted into his pillow and was laughing
silently at Harry’s sorrowed look. “Oh
Harry…I hope you feel better soon,” Angela said. “I’ll
check on you again in four more hours. Can I bring you anything
then?” “Just
you,” Harry said. “Just seeing you again will make me
feel much better.” “I’ll
go now. But I’ll be back,” Angela said with a love filled
grin as she stood. “Anything for you, Malfoy?” Angela
asked flatly. “Yeah.
How about another bucket for the load of crap in here,” Malfoy
said. “And put Potter over there in a straight jacket so he’ll
keep his hands off me.” “That
wasn’t very nice,” Angela almost spat. “I’ll
be back at the appropriate time.” Angela took all the vials and
went to the door and turned back. “Bye, Harry.” “Goodbye,
Angela,” Harry said sweetly. Angela left and put up the ward.
Harry laughed with Draco. “Oh
my god she has it bad for you,” Draco said. “I
know it,” Harry laughed. “She has no idea I’m gay.
But she’s a nice girl. That was awful of me to do that to her.
Oh well. Fuck it. You want to come over here and lay with me?” “Hell
no,” Draco said. “You’re such a flirt, Harry. You
could have had her blow you off if you wanted it just now.” “I
could have,” Harry said. “But…I don’t want
her. I want you. And only you. So come over here.” “You
come over here,” Draco said. “I’m comfy. And cold.” “Want
me to warm the room?” Harry asked. Draco gave an agreement of a
hum and Harry removed the cooling spell and gave the warm a nice
toasty spell. Draco crawled under his covers and soon Harry moved
over to the bed and crawled in with him. The warmth was soothing but
their trembling was becoming a nuisance. “I’m going back
to the other bed.” No argument was there, so each crawled under
covers and dozed a bit. “Wonder
what your little angel would say if she came in and we were in the
same bed?” Draco asked with a sneer. “That
you’d drugged me or had put some sort of terrible spell on me,”
Harry said with a short laugh. “It would be all your fault, I’m
sure. I can do no wrong, you understand.” “Oh
yes I understand perfectly,” Draco said with sarcasm. “You
couldn’t possibly do anything wrong, Saint Potter. Always
getting away with anything. Always. You make me sick.” “Speaking…speaking
of sick…” Harry turned over to vomit into the container
beside his bed and as he gasped to catch his breath from vomiting, he
heard Draco doing the same. After another bout of sickness that
threatened to make him faint, Harry groaned at the pain in his head
and chest. “This is fun isn’t it?” “Fuck
you,” Draco said between two bouts of vomiting. “I’m
starting to hurt,” Harry said. “My
head is killing me,” Draco said holding his forehead and
closing his eyes attempting to keep the pounding pain at bay. “And…my
legs are starting to cramp up.” “Oh
god,” Harry said holding his head and trying to will the pain
away. “I need to…meditate to help with this a bit.” “Help
me, Harry,” Draco said. “Help get me into that
meditation.” Harry took a deep breath and began to speak the
words to help Draco into his relaxed state. Harry took advantage of
his own words and within a quarter hour, each was resting a bit more
peacefully. The pain slowly came heavier and each was trying to
remain in the meditation. Draco’s low groans of pain ate away
at Harry’s heart. “Draco,
let me call Angela for you. You can get a few healing spells for
pain,” Harry said. “No,”
Draco said. “I’ll be okay.” Harry sighed and got up
from the bed to bang on the door. Angela came quickly. “Harry,
what is it?” Angela asked. “You look pale.” “Give
Draco some healing spells,” Harry said before he went back to
sit on the side of his bed with a slouch. The vomiting container was
between his feet and he put his elbows on his thighs and his head in
his hands staring down into the container waiting on the purge from
his body that would come soon. The nausea along with the gnawing dull
ache in his bones was an irritant aching within him. Angela came and
cast the spells on Draco who immediately was relieved from the
cramping and bone-like pain. “Harry,
is there anything I can do for you?” Angela asked. “No.
Thank you, Angela,” Harry said. “I’m fine right
now. I’ll…I’ll be okay.” Harry had to
swallow many times to keep from vomiting while speaking. “Alright.
I’ll be just outside if you need me,” Angela said softly.
“For anything.” Harry nodded but never looked at her. “Can
you get Albus?” Draco asked. “No.
Don’t…not yet,” Harry said. “I have a ways
to go before I…I may need him later.” “Let
me know if you need the Headmaster,” Angela said to Harry but
glanced quickly at Draco who looked concerned for Harry as well. “I
will,” Harry said and held back the urge to gag again. Harry
was breathing heavy as Angela left and the moment the ward was put up
and Harry felt the magical energy wave through the room he retched
and heaved only bile into the container with a groan at the pain.
Draco felt a pang of guilt. “Dammit.
I hate that I can have these spells and you can’t,” Draco
said. “Don’t
worry about it,” Harry said. “I’ve been through
this before, Draco. I’ll live through it. I can’t die,
remember?” Harry held onto the side of the container for
balance as he slid into the floor on his knees and dry heaved over it
several more time breathing heavier. Harry put one hand on the wall
to steady himself with a twinge of dizziness. After the nausea had
past somewhat, Harry pulled himself back up onto the bed and curled
up into a fetal position, pale, sweaty and trembling violently. With
unsteady fingers, Harry pulled the sheet up over himself and buried
his head into the covers. Draco watched feeling helpless and a bit
better from the spells. “I need…need to meditate.” “Okay,”
Draco whispered as he watched Harry calm himself. Draco lay back and
closed his eyes. The next sound Draco heard was a tiny groan and
Draco checked his watch. He’d slept for an hour and a half.
Draco looked over to Harry who was sitting up in his bed with his
knees drawn to his chest and his arms wrapped around him. Harry’s
head was on his arm looking down. Harry was rocking himself a bit
through his pain. Draco’s heart wrenched as he heard Harry
almost whimper. “Harry?” “What?”
Harry said strained. “You
want to call Albus?” Draco asked. “No,”
Harry said shortly. “I’m fine. Draco, just…leave
me alone right now, okay?” “Okay,”
Draco said knowing Harry was in pain and didn’t need to be
speaking. Draco’s head was pounding again and he tried to turn
over onto his stomach but when he did the dizziness kicked in and he
had to quickly vomit in the container again. Nothing would come up
but a bit of the bitter yellow of his stomach bile. Draco put his
head in the pillow with just enough room to breathe and trembled
uncontrollably. He was beginning to sweat again and become hot but
he’d wait on Harry to make that decision. “Oh
god,” Harry whispered and bit his lip as the cramping in his
muscles felt like squeezing fire on him. Harry lay back again amid
the sweat and trembles with the cramping pains running through him.
This pain was the type that begged for movement. Harry writhed slowly
in the bed with pain that wouldn’t stop regardless of what
position he was in. His head pounded and his eyes were squeezed shut
in agony as he trembled. “Oh god why did we do this? Oh hell
I’d do anything to get rid of this pain and these damn shakes.
Fuck!” Harry spat to himself and then felt miserable for his
weakness. “We’re doing good. We’re doing good. It
will pass. It will be over soon.” “Keep
telling me that,” Draco said with his voice breaking. “I’m
reconsidering it.” “No,
we can’t,” Harry said. “We’re stronger than
this. This is nothing compared to the pain curse. We’ll make
it.” “But
the fucking pain curse don’t last for three damn days,”
Draco said. “Harry, I want a shot. I want a needle. I can’t
take it.” “Yes,
you can and yes you will,” Harry said. “Don’t weak
out on me, ferret. Come on. We’ll be getting potions in about
ten minutes and that will help a bit.” “Oh
fuck no,” Draco almost cried. “Harry, I can’t take
any more of those potions. I can’t do this. I can’t. I’m
not as strong as you.” Harry turned over to look at Draco with
a look of pure anger. “You
can do this,” Harry said through gritted teeth. “You are
as strong as me.” “No,
the fuck I’m not!” Draco yelled. “Look
at you and look at me,” Harry said. “This has nothing to
do with magic or abilities or physical strength. Your body and mine
are relatively about the same size and we’ve had the same
amounts of dope lately. We’re the same. You and me. Compete
with me if you want. We’ll make this a challenge. Potter and
Malfoy. You up?” “No.
Fuck you! I don’t want some stupid game,” Draco said. “I
want a fucking needle shoved up my vein to stop this pain and
misery.” “No.
I’m not letting you leave,” Harry said. “I love you
and I’m making you stay. After you’re off this shit in
three days if you want to go back to it, fine. You can go and make up
your own mind then. But you’ll do it alone. I’m not going
through this again.” “You
can’t make me stay here,” Draco said with venom. “Yes,
I can,” Harry said. “I can put you in binds to the bed
and force you to stay if I want. But you’re right. I won’t.
If you want to go, then go. But I’m staying…and I hope
you’ll stay with me.” Harry held his thigh and closed his
eyes with the pain. Harry bit his lip until he thought he’d bit
through it. “Harry,
I want off the dope,” Draco cried. “I just…I hurt
all over and…I’m sick…I’m miserable oh
god…” Draco groaned loudly into the room. “Then
scream and yell if you have to. I don’t care because I’m
about to myself,” Harry said. “There are two silencing
wards on this room anyway so nobody will hear you. Scream and let it
out. It feels good to do it. And I won’t think any less of you
because I hate you anyway, Malfoy.” Harry teased and Draco
laughed until he groaned again with the pains. Angela came in with
more potions and each took them. The nurse could tell each was
suffering and she left quickly after giving Draco a few more spells
but didn’t speak to Harry at all. “Well,
well,” Draco drawled after she’d gone. “She didn’t
say much to you this time. Is there trouble in lover paradise?” “You’d
have to ask her,” Harry said feeling the first tiny bits of
relief from the potion until it started to work fully and bring about
the pains again. “I could get her to do anything.” “Make
her give you head when she comes back,” Draco said. “I’d
like to see if you could do that.” “I
can’t. I’m in pain. Even my dick hurts,” Harry said
as his head pounded. “Oh fuck. My head is killing me.”
Draco looked over to Harry. “You
look like shit. You’re so pale,” Draco said. Harry was
lying with his head at the foot of his bed and his legs to each side
with a forearm over his eyes. “Where are your glasses?” “On
the floor,” Harry said. “They fell off when I was puking.
I left them. Fuck it. I can’t open my eyes anyway without my
head threatening to explode. My fucking bones feel like they’ll
split from this damn cramping.” “I
know,” Draco felt a bit better from the spells. “Just
hang on.” “I
will,” Harry said clenching his jaw and then releasing it
several times. “I’ll be worse in about four hours,
Draco.” “I
know,” Draco said. “We’ll get Albus if you need
it.” “I
don’t want him here,” Harry said. “Don’t
bring him unless I ask, okay?” “Okay,”
Draco said. “And
one more thing,” Harry said. “I may…I might bleed
so don’t freak out. It’s normal for me when I’m
under extreme stress for my scar to bleed.” “What?”
Draco asked. “Your scar?” “Don’t
panic it’s nothing,” Harry said. “It just happens
when I get under dire stress or when I’m near Voldemort…or
when he’s doing some dark arts incantations sometimes it
happens, too. Actually it happened when he possessed me, too, but I
don’t think that will happen again.” “Oh
fuck,” Draco fell back onto the pillow. “You were
possessed?” “Yeah.
It was awful,” Harry said. “I thought I was dead. That
pain was so awful, I pleaded to die in my brain. I wanted to just get
away from that pain. But…he left me and…that was that.
Oh gods…oh fuck!” Harry rolled over into his fetal
position again with the cramping pain. “Dammit! Oh fuck!”
Harry groaned loudly as he held himself and sweat on the covers. For
the next set of four hours Draco wasn’t as bad, but the guilt
of having the healing spells and watching Harry suffer without was
pure hell. The sweating was not good, the shaking was bad, but the
pain was worse. With every whimper, groan or yelled expletive Harry
muttered, Draco wanted to sink into the covers and just die. Even
though his own pain was terribly malicious, Draco knew Harry’s
was ten times worse. “Oh
fucking hell,” Draco said wiping the sweat from his brow as his
body temperature rose. During the bout of pained sweat and tears,
Draco finally found sleep in the early morning hours. After standing
to pace the floor for hours in his unbearable misery, the sudden
dizziness hit and Harry passed out from pain and exhaustion. Promptly
at six in the morning, Poppy was back on duty and she came in to
check on the patients. Draco was asleep in his bed, but Harry was not
in his. Poppy saw Harry lying in the bathroom floor on his side. One
arm was bent unnaturally behind him and on the floor was a spattering
of blood. Poppy quickly turned Harry over to see that he was ice cold
from lying on the floor and that his scar had ruptured from stress.
It was expected anyway. With a levitation spell, Poppy placed Harry
back into his bed softly and decided to let him rest. Draco would
need the potions immediately. “Draco,”
Poppy said quietly shaking Draco’s shoulder. “Draco, wake
up.” Draco opened a weary eye and felt the ten tons of bricks
hit his head. “Oh
god,” Draco said with his parched mouth and throbbing
everything. “Kill me, Poppy.” “No,
I can’t do that,” Poppy said in her way. “Get up
and take these potions. You’ll start to feel better here in
about eight hours. Hang in there. Up now.” Draco leaned up to
look over to Harry. “Oh
my god! What happened to Harry?” Draco asked in dread. “He
was passed out in the floor of the bathroom when I came in,”
Poppy said. “He had evidently been there for a long time. His
scar ruptured as I’d expected. I’ll clean it up when he
wakes. I’m letting him rest right now because he needs the
sleep.” “Yeah.
Let him rest as much as he can,” Draco said before he gulped
down the two vials. “Water.” Draco held his throat as
Poppy poured Draco a full glass of the ice-cold water that felt so
good going down his parched mouth and throat. “I’ve
brought you both a change of clothing and a few pair of fresh
pajamas,” Poppy said. “You may want to shower to be more
comfortable with the profuse sweating. I’ve had the house elves
bring you both toiletries including more soap, toothbrushes and the
like. I’d like for you both to have the drink mix today as much
as you can. That will give you more energy and help you with dealing
with the pain a bit. Draco, I’ll leave now. But I can only
allow Harry another hour of rest before I have to wake him. It would
be worse for me to interrupt the cycle of the potions. They have to
be taken on schedule or the process must begin again. I’ll be
back in an hour. Try to rest again if you wish.” With that,
Poppy swept out of the room leaving Harry’s two potions on the
bedside table for him. Draco lay back down and was almost immediately
asleep. “Harry,”
Poppy shook his shoulder. “Harry, wake up. Come on. You need to
take the potions.” “Poppy,”
Harry groaned as the pain all came back at once and Harry writhed on
the bed. “Give it to me.” Harry struggled and eventually
pulled himself up somehow to a sitting position. He quickly drained
the vials and was about to lie on the bed again when he noticed the
blood on the sheet. His hand went up to his scar, which was crusty
with the dried blood. “Dammit.” “I’ll
need to clean it and dress it properly,” Poppy said already
opening the tube of salve. Harry laid back on the bed and allowed
Poppy to wash off the scar, treat it with the salve and apply the
bandage. “You
know that salve is a waste of time,” Harry said. “It will
happen again while I’m here.” “I
know that,” Poppy said. “It’s protocol. And the
salve will prevent the bandage from sticking to the skin.” “I
know that,” Harry said. “We’ve sort of been through
this before. Oh god I hurt all over. I’m about to be sick again
so…hurry.” Poppy finished the bandage as she tried to
coax Harry to drink as much as possible. Harry did have a glass of
the drink mix which he eventually vomited a half hour later. Draco
woke to the sounds of Harry’s retches into the container. The
rest of the whole day was more of the same. Each had a few spoonfuls
of broth that they eventually ridded from their stomachs. Harry
suffered with pain and passed out again after the evening meal but
this time was thankfully in his bed at the time. Draco had more of
the healing spells and each was tiring of their efforts and becoming
increasingly weaker. Harry would wake and walk the floor in trembles
and pain refusing to speak or look at Draco during his agony. Each
showered separately while the other slept and hardly a word was
spoken during the night. The
late evening of the third day Harry woke to see Draco sitting in the
windowsill staring out over the moonlit grounds. Harry gazed at his
fair-skinned lover. “You
are so beautiful,” Harry said lazily. Draco turned to Harry
with a tiny grin. “The moonlight on you is just ethereal. Am I
dreaming?” “Yes,”
Draco said softly. “You are dreaming.” “No,
I’m not,” Harry said from the comfort and warmth of his
messy bed from tossing and turning. “Nothing in my dreams is as
lovely and captivating as you sitting there bathed in moon beams.” “I
just took another shower,” Draco said. “I
see that,” Harry said. “I like your hair all over like
that. Very nice. Different. I like it a lot. It’s you.” “No,
it’s not,” Draco said, trying to push back his hair into
the slicked back way he usually wore it. The blond locks were still
damp and the fringe fell all over and into his eyes. “It’s
messy.” “It’s
sexy,” Harry said. “Tousled like I’ve just ravished
you for hours.” “That
look might be better,” Draco said. “We’ll
try it and see,” Harry grinned. “You
must feel better,” Draco said coming to sit on the side of
Harry’s bed. “You still look like hell.” “Thanks,”
Harry said putting a hand on the bandage and feeling the wetness he
groaned. “Dammit. Is this red?” Harry pointed to it.
Draco nodded. “I knew it.” “It’s
been that way for a whole day,” Draco said. “This is the
end of this crap. Finally. Eight hours left.” “Hell.
It’s hell,” Harry said. “I still hurt all over.
You?” “Just
a little bit of lingering cramping, but…I’m okay,”
Draco said. “My
head is killing me,” Harry said rubbing his eyes. “And I
still feel nauseous.” “I’m
over the nausea,” Draco said. “I’m
glad,” Harry said taking Draco’s hand. “I can’t
stand to see you sick.” “I
can’t stand to see you still in pain,” Draco said. “Poppy
peeped in and said that Albus is coming in about a half hour. That
was ten minutes ago. Can you shower?” Harry nodded and Draco
helped by running water for Harry’s shower. While Harry was
bathing, Draco brought a pair of the fresh pajama bottoms to the
bathroom. Draco had just sat on his bed when Albus came in quickly.
Draco noticed the scowl on his face. “Harry?”
Albus asked. “Shower,”
Draco said. “What is it?” Albus walked to the bathroom. “Harry,
please hurry. Quickly, this is urgent,” Albus said. Harry
turned off the water and was scrambling to dry and put on the pajama
bottoms. “What
is?” Harry asked. Albus held up the invisibility cloak. “Oh
no.” “You
must get out of this room quickly,” Albus said. “There
are four Ministry officials here wishing to take you. Your signature
from the Azkaban incident was found. They wish to question you and my
suspicion is that they want to charge you with either an attempt to
break out the prisoners, or the negligence of allowing a certain
number of Death Eaters to escape. I need you to go to your hideout
and not get caught.” “I
got it,” Harry moved quickly to slip on his shirt and shove his
feet into his shoes without tying them. Harry rushed to the window
and looked out everywhere. “What
are you doing?” Draco asked. Harry took the cloak and began to
climb out the window. “Meet
me in my office in two hours,” Albus said firmly. Each nodded
to the other and Harry climbed out the window and disappeared. Draco
went to the window and Harry was gone. “Where
did he go?” Draco asked. “He
fragmented,” Albus said. “What’s
going on?” Draco asked. “They can’t charge him with
helping the Aurors. He saved their lives.” “The
Ministry wants Harry more than anything, Draco,” Albus said.
“They fear Harry’s abilities. I have no doubt that
Cornelius Fudge will come up with something to try and detain Harry.
They seek anything they can get on him as they have for years.
And…this time I have no excuse for him. His signature at
Azkaban could be taken in two ways. He was there to assist the Aurors
and they will testify to that. But they are under Fudge’s
command and may not be allowed. Fudge may use the Aurors’
testimony that Harry was there against him in allowing the fourth set
of escapees go. That would be a crime against Harry which I haven’t
found a loophole for.” “Oh
no,” Draco said. “Why did he do that? He should have…just
taken them down regardless if Lucius was with them.” “Harry
still has that guilt over taking your father from you years ago,”
Albus said. “He suffered with that for a long time.” “And
he’s suffering now with the detox,” Draco said. “Harry
is still having pain, Albus. He can’t be running around all
over tonight. He could pass out anywhere.” “I
think Harry will be okay,” Albus said. “He’s
meeting me in my office in two hours and after that I’m sending
him back here with you if there are no complications. I need to go
tend to the officers waiting on me. I told them I was checking on a
sick student. Namely you. You’ll be kept updated so try not to
worry.” “Easier
said than done,” Draco said. “Harry is god-knows-where
and four Ministry officials are here to get him. What will they say
when even the Headmaster can’t find him?” “I
will tell them nothing,” Albus said. “I will see what
information they have first and then try to work around it as always.
But the reason I had Harry go, is if I fail, I cannot allow Harry to
be taken before this weekend. After that, then I’ll allow Harry
to be tested and even reveal his abilities and strength levels. But
not until that time. I must go. Try to stay calm.” “I’ll
try but it won’t work,” Draco said wringing his hands in
nervousness as Albus left. The next three hours Draco paced the room
nervously until Poppy came in. “Have you heard anything about
Harry?” Poppy looked grave. “Albus
and the Ministry officials have taken Harry to the Ministry, Draco,”
Poppy said. Draco paled and stilled in fear.
“Oh
god no,” Draco said. “We have to get him out of there.
Poppy, I need to go and talk to Ron and Hermione. I’m basically
fine. I don’t hurt anymore and I’m not shaking or
nauseous. Please let me go.” “I
can’t do that, Draco,” Poppy said. “You’re
under my care until ten tomorrow morning. I’m sorry.” “I
have to speak to them. You could get them and send them here to me if
you would,” Draco said. “Either that or I will leave the
ward by force if I must.” “Take
these two potions and I’ll send for Ron and Hermione,”
Poppy said. “I know that you care for Harry greatly, Draco. But
please consider that he is with Albus and nothing will happen to him
in Albus’ care. They are very powerful.” “Yes,
I know that,” Draco grinned. “Thank you, Poppy.”
Draco drank down the two disgusting potions and gave her the vials.
Poppy left and Draco sat on his bed to wait. Draco was sitting in the
windowsill fully dressed in his clothing when Ron and Hermione came
in. “What
is it? What’s going on?” Ron asked. “Where’s
Harry?” Hermione asked. Draco’s grave expression terrored
them. “Harry
is gone with Albus to the Ministry of Magic,” Draco said.
Hermione gasped.
